Hello Bill, A reminder of what Bill McCarthy on TBBETA typed on: 12 November 2004 at 21:32:49 GMT +0100 BM Thanks, but we still need to trash the registry BM settings. Can't we simply adjust the registry by hand BM - given some guidance from Ritlabs what to adjust? I asked for that last week. All we needed was a reg file that included the difference but I got no joy. I ended up doing it Mareks way which worked well. Hi Bill, You wrote: Is someone there working on a way to use the new encryption without needing to uninstall TB! (including all registry entries), install a fresh msi release, then restore the registry and overwrite thebat.exe before starting again - if this is the correct procedure? You don't need to install an MSI really. You just need to make the current executable run without it finding a registry tree. You can do this by running it from another location other than your current installation and forcing it to generate a new registry key. Marek outlined how to do that in his message mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Once TB! sees it's a fresh installation, it'll ask you what you wish to do. -- Allie Martin Current beta is 3.0.2.7 Rush | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
