[Bug 1605676] Re: criu doesn't save permissions on all cgroups visible to the container
Is CRIU going to be updated in xenial? It is still at 2.0 vs 2.6 in yakkety. [Bug 1626100] Re: lxc stateful snapshot failed with 32512
Checking on my system, lxc isn't actually installed (lxd is). Will the lxc changes take effect when the latest lxd trickles through to xenial- updates? Also, my confusion was increased by the fact that the https://linuxcontainers.org/lxd/news/ page announces that on the 5th of October lxd 2.0.4 was released. It was also released on 15th August! Thanks Omer. I have done as you suggested (via a usb stick and the startup disk creator), and lo and behold it loads with Unity. As to why nvidia-current is installed, I have no idea. Unless it came in with the xorg-edgers ppa? I believe I am supposed to get rid of the ppa software by running ppa- purge on the system. [Bug 483956] Re: ALT+TAB Does Not Work
This has happened for me to on all three of my ubuntu 9.10 computers. The fix suggested by Spiros worked for me, though unlike coldReactive, I can switch between apps across all desktops, and I have the normal behaviour of alt+tab switching between programs (Ctrl+tab continues to allow switching between tabs/windows of the same program). -- ALT+TAB Does Not Work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/483956 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 250141] Re: after envyng update mythtv display corrupted
I changed the section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, and then pressed Ctrl Alt Backspace Logged in, fired up mythTV, problem still the same. Composite is definately off (I think) because wobbly windows, desktop cube etc no longer works. Thank you for your time. What can I try next? [Bug 250141] Re: after envyng update mythtv display corrupted
** Description changed: Binary package hint: envyng-core After update to envyng (1.1.1ubuntu17) on 19th July 2008, mythtv is no longer displayed correctly. When the front end or back end is launched, the blue screen launches as normal, but each row in the display doesn't match up with the previous, as if the row length was wrong. I uninstalled the ati driver using envyng, and mythtv worked again. I reinstalled, and mythtv returned to the non-usable state. When I quit mythtv, the main desktop display has the same problem for a few seconds, and then it resolves itself. I can't do a screenshot in the normal way, because when I do the resulting image is perfect, rather than being messed up! However, I have attached a photograph of the effect. - Ubuntu 8.04.1 + Ubuntu 8.04.1 AMD_64 Mythtv 0.21.0+fixes16838-0ubuntu3.1 Mobilitiy Radeon HD 3450 using DVI output Acer AL2216W LCD monitor at 1680 x 1050 using DVI input -- after envyng update mythtv display corrupted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/250141 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 236171] Re: gnome-keyring-daemon and Evolution cause 100% CPU usage
I've been redirected here as my bug has been marked as a duplicate of this one (bug #236171). My experience is more that the memory usage of gnome-keyring-daemon keeps growing until the system keels over. Simply killing the daemon makes evolution nice and sprightly again, and it instantly restarts the daemon. Which then starts growing again! -- gnome-keyring-daemon and Evolution cause 100% CPU usage https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236171 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 239515] [NEW] gnome-keyring-daemon keeps on growing till it cripples system
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-keyring Ubuntu 8.04 AMD_64 gnome-keyring: Installed: 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 I have had various problems with Evolution becoming unresponsive and the whole computer grinding to a halt and only the mouse responding - even Ctrl-Alt-F1 etc doesn't respond. It all seems to be related to gnome-keyring-daemon forever increasing in size. If Evolution starts to slow and I get to it in time, I can kill the daemon, and then instantly Evolution springs back to life and the daemon restarts. If I don't notice and kill the daemon in time, it can continually increase in size - for example today it reached 850MB of memory. This is where it takes down the entire system if it runs out of real and swap memory. When the daemon restarts, it usually takes up about 500kB. ** Affects: gnome-keyring (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gnome-keyring-daemon keeps on growing till it cripples system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239515 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 152286] Gusty Beta update stopped laptop Fn Volume Control
Public bug reported: I have an Asus A8Series laptop - A8SC. When I first installed Gutsy Beta over a week ago the Fn F10/11/12 volume mute/down/up all worked. At some point in the last week, they stopped working (Thursday or earlier). The system updates every day - I don't know which day it stopped working! I can still change the volume using the control located beside the clock in the top bar - the 'Volume Control: HDA Intel (Alsa mixer)' I have looked through the bugs, and there are lots of no sound, or sound stopping, but I couldn't find one like this. Please let me know how to give you any more information that would help to isolate the issue.
