Whatever Pyarelal might say, it doesnt affect the fact that LP is one of the
most successful music directors in hindi film industry. May be the most
successful. Before you guys get upset let me tell you why.
They started their career in 1963 with Parasmani. Their first block buster
was Dosti 1964.
I was deligthed to read the news about Shanker-Ehsaan_loy working on a
movies Johny Gaddar on royalty basis.

Abhijeet like Kumar Sanu never liked ARR and never hid their feelings.
Abhijeet must be a very frustrated man these days ... He used to be the
voice of SRK but oflate Sonu Nigam has taken that place and Abhijeet hardly
has any songs and he thinks ARR is reason for his failure to get good songs.
Lo
.
Juz very sad that such a "Masterpiece" of an Album "TajMahal" from ARR
was wasted for such a lousy movie with the actors spoiling the whole beauty
of the song scenes beyond imagination!!!

Hi Durba,
I am a big Rahman fan, and always have been.
I dont think you can say that RDB was consistent for 25 years. If you look
at his career graph, he had first hit in "Teesri Kasam", which came in 1966.
he had great time from then to early 80s. But by then his number of his were
few and rare. I think between 80 - 85 he had only few hits like Saaga
