I use Netbeans 18 on Windows 11. This issue happens a lot to me. I also
have NetBeans 15 on the same PC. I experience the same problem. I also have
NetBeans 12 on the same computer but never had copy-paste problem. I don't
know if this narrows down anything.

I've been experiencing the same issue for a long time now and the solution
is exactly how you described. Perform cut and undo in Netbeans.
I am not sure what triggers this bug but it definitely exists.
