Contact microsoft they will give you a key as long as you are the original
owner.I borrowed a disk from my sister inlaw
and lost her key i conntacted them and they gave me a key..

I've had Linux, and specifically Ubuntu installed twice on a dual-boot
machine. That may be an option at some time for the laptop, but for now
I'd prefer to stick with Windows - as painful as that might be hi hi!
