It looks like it got further as there is a port clash perhaps with WMP

To get more info about the problem, running slim from the command line
add the following options and then copy the output into a file, zip it
and attach to a post
slim.exe --d_plugins --d_startup --d_server --httpport 90
At the command prompt I entered the start up command as described and
got the following two messages:
"About to look for files in C:\programfiles\slimserver\server\playlists
"
and then this:

The command should be
slim.exe --httpport 9080
There are two "-" before "httpport" and a space between "slim.exe" and
the "--"

I changed the command to " slim.exe--httpport 9080"
This was not a recognizeable command.
I tried " slim.exe httpport 9080 " and this yielded the same error code
as before.
I do not think I am entering the command properly. How should it be
entered?

Possible clash of app on port 9000.
To confirm try adding the option "--httpport 9080" on the command line
to use port 9080 when starting from command prompt.
