Yes, it helps a lot! We don't have that many PB's, so I'm going to
disable/enable per your suggestion.
This is one of those "unknowns" that was bugging me. Now I know why it's

uncheck that.
Try each one at a time, I'm on outlook 2010 so i dont recall exaclty.

was what I read to work and what we used on ex2k3

Ooo, please tell me more. I'm facing the same scenario, (only we're
under 2007 for the moment - migration to 2010 is in the works).
We have a team of recruiters who use a hosted app called Sendouts. There is
a client for the app that is installed locally and needs to be able to send
smtp mail
I think if you have permissions it will do those anyway, but did them
separatley because I raised a separate change.
Don't have blackberry so I don't know about permissions. I think its
just adding extra permissions.

Thanks Dave. I'm so surprised that there appears to be no mention at
all of those prep steps on that Microsoft tutorial/guide.
So in order I simply run:
setup /PrepareLegacyExchangePermissions
setup /PrepareSchema
setup /PrepareAD
Presumably this adds permissions but won't break exis

We used this format in ex2k3 as this was the only way it'd work :)
And so we just kept the same format after the mailbox migrated, but
unfortunately this didn't fix it for us
