Flipping the note stem doesn't have any impact either.
Why not just move the figures? Up, that is, not sideways.

I have a choral score with a lot of "da va da ba"
and so on syllables that look well spaced in page view. When I print the pages
some of those syllables (attached to octave notes) get "glued" together. So I
assume it is a printersetup (I use alaser HPdevice). Some
hints?
Thank you

Is this because the drive is USB or is there
David,
As far as I know, you can't boot from a USB drive; it's too slow. I
think you can from a firewire drive ... which you probably don't have
on your G3 unless you've added a special card to attach it to, and
even then it might not work, not being a part or the original package.

You can't boot your Mac from a USB HD. Only FireWire drives are
bootable for your model of computer.

you can start your G3 from a CD - such as the one that comes with the
computer or one that you prepare to use as star-up disc- but you can't

I believe the Intel Macs allow USB drive booting.

No, you *can* boot from an external HD, it just has to be a Firewire
drive.

I don't know about the limitations of drive interfaces on the Mac,
but a USB 2.0 connection is *faster* in its bandwidth rating than

The machine in question -- a G3 iMac -- did not come with USB 2.0 ports.

Actually, the speed of the USB connection *on the machine in
question* (a G3 iMac without USB 2.0) is, in fact, the reason Apple
did not include support from booting from USB hard drives.
The _continued_ lack of boot support for USB drives on Macs is
clearly a legacy issue: Apple invented

I believe you might have to open it into a new document, then copy/paste
from there to the new staff in the existing doc.

But then (as I mentioned in another post) I lose all the continuous

I should mention I'm in Fin2006c. The inability to copy continuous
