I have a disk that may be going bad, SCSI.
How do I tell camcontrol to stop using parts of the disk that show errors?
such as:

I use racadm on my local machine and have found that the linux version will run
on FreeBSD.
There are commands in the racadm utility to read temps and voltages etc etc, a
little cumbersome, but possible.

Turned out to be a filesystem quota issue. Updateing to 6.2 fixed that.

I am in the proces of moving /usr to a sub dir under /home/ which has 30 G.
Hopefully, I can rerun cvsup with success.
I will create a soft link from /usr -> /home/usr.

raid 5 box, lees of course, the proc and swap dir.
These dumps look like this and are done and transfered to a NFS filesystem
in the /mnt/ dir.

I took a stab at installing ipmitool on my PE750.
When I try to use it I get this.
The box is running FreeBSD 6.2 so my understanding is there is no kernel work

I am preparing to upgrade all servers from FBSD 6.2 to 6.3 in preperation
for 6.4, and some day 7.x
One thing I have always found a little confusing is what tag to specify in
the supfile.
If a machine is running 6.2, and I want to upgrade to the latest production

I have been tinkering with bruteblock all night, and was wondering if anyone
else on this list has used it. I can't seem to get proftpd.conf, syslog.conf
setup correclty to log the ips to table one (in ipfw).
