Angie had wanted to make a roast goose so I tried to pluck one. I worked on it
for maybe 30 minutes and was left with another hour of work. There were tiny
feather stubs that went through the skin. In the end I skinned it, got most of
the meat off and maybe I'll try again next time...

My mom always used to make roast goose for Christmas dinner. Store-bought
though, not wild. Delicious, but fairly expensive compared to a turkey.

I'm gonna guess waterfowl, maybe a Wood Duck. There's not much wild game
you want to eat bloody rare.

Canada goose shot last Saturday.
The meat is way more like red meat then any other poultry. Angie sears it in a
cast iron pan and then finishes it in the oven. These breasts were from an
older goose so they were kinda tough. We should have pounded them a little

No wild boar in MA. Interestingly NH has some but they're all escaped domestic
pigs. To hunt them you need a pig farmer to claim they were his and then give
you permission to shoot them.

I'll give 2 hints, one is that I shot the critter here in MA. That rules out

The second hint is that none of the guesses so far are even in the ballpark.
