Hi Patriek,
Just a couple of innacuracies:
- Sengawa is actually 仙川, the place where I was living before
moving to the other side of Tokyo. Thousand rivers would be 千川.
And I agree that this one would be much cooler. ;-)
- Sengawa Networks has never existed as a company. I intended to
the computer:

Now there's just the IDE-CF cartridge, *WITH A SMALLER CARTRIDGE
INSERTED INTO IT* (the CF memory card). What could be more MSX-like? ;)

was able to partition/format the card
from a floppy disk.
I remembered that I had to do something like this (because I had an
IDE+RS232 before), but I was pressing INS instead of DEL at boot. ;)
Thanks for the help,

is:
- Panasonic FS-A1ST (512Kb)/A1GT/A1WX
- CF ATA-IDE, BIOS 2.21
- 128Mb CF card (detected as TOSHIBA THNCF128MA at boot)
- Nothing else connected to the computer
Any ideas on what can be causing the problem?
Regards,
PS: I posted this same message on Sunrise's forum too.

in my opinion he's one of the very few that can still be

So I leave.

of the BIOS/MAIN ROM.
But #FCC1 is RAM. The slot address in that system variable is set by the
BIOS at boot time. Now let's say that the BIOS didn't to that job for
me. How could I find out where's the MAIN-ROM for that computer?

Hi all,
Can I safely assume that MAIN-ROM is located on slot 0-0 on every MSX
computer out there?

I wrote this on Sunrise's guestbook this evening, I hope they will at least read it and tell us what we want to know:
Okay, okay, it is a great page, there is a lot of software for download not to mention the hardware... But there is no technical info about your interfaces! If you really want
