Can one use Mandrake's KDE install RPMs to upgrade a RedHat 6.0 install, or
would one have to do an "upgrade install" of Mandrake to upgrade RedHat's
KDE (just figured since there are supposedly "final" versions of KDE 1.1.1,
I would consider upgrading.)
Thanks...
Hi - just a note - this will probably NOT work unless
Mike provides his entire registration information -
name, address, phone, email, etc. Staroffice requires

That worked all I changed was the install path to /usr/. Now when I try
to change any settings in the pager it crashes and control panel comes

No, I haven't downloaded anything for RH 6.0. My problem went away when I
unstalled 1.2.0 and installed 1.2.1.

5.3 or something similar?

there's a discrepancy, then it doesn't work.

Again I need help with installing X11amp. I did a reinstall to fix my glib and
gtk+ problem. Now that both are installed, I go to install X11amp and it
installs. But when I launch it I get this error message:

/usr/lib/libgdk-1.2.so.0: undef

Actually, an easier way (if you have the bandwidth to download the whole thing anyway)
would be to go to the iso/ folder on one of the ftp sites and download the file
"mandrake60-1.iso" which is an image of the whole mandrake cd (version 6 anyway, are
earlier ones still available?) The ftp dir
You need more than just the I386 folder. I would recommend you download the
