it will, at the very least, double the length of time it takes. If, of
course, you are using real-time scanning, the index files are constantly
changing and are constantly being scanned at

you change the jobs at all? If you are backing up what you believe to be a
differential with a full backup, that will add to time. Open the edit job
option and look at the type of backup you're running under the General
