I can attest it is a very good lens. I have one (HSM version for the
Nikon AF mount) and it is nearly as good as the Pentax FA 80-200 mm. 2.8
I also have, being the only advantages of the Pentax better contrast and
a little more sharpness wide open.

Now I must decide between the Super Program and a few others. I am
eyeing an ME Super, a Spotmatic F, and an MX. The only hitch (for
me, at least) with the ME Super is the lack of DOF

I think I got most of it with a swab. The blue area must be a
reflection of the flash off the edge of the viewfinder glass - I could
see something bluish but there is definitely not a blue spot on the
camera.

For which package? The LX or MZ should weigh about 3-4lbs packed, the
K100D package will be a lot more as there's a lot more in it, maybe 10lbs.
A guesstimate would be approximately $40 for the MZ or LX and about $100
for the K100D package. I could have exact prices for you on monday

I haven't packed anything up yet, of course. However, as an estimate
using USPS -airmail parcel post,3-5 days, would be $30 for a 5lb
(2.2Kg) package. (insurance and delivery receipts are a bit more) I
checked DHL and FedEx they were faster but much more expensive.
