- directly open a terminal
- directly open a file browser (Finder) on the working directory
right from the Pharo tools menu. See attached screenshot.

Well did he? All I saw was an attempt to justify what he had said, in terms of
the difficult history etc. Forceful argument is fine, but a personal attack
like the one Offray quoted is unforgiveable. It could be put to bed if Stef
would just say ‘sorry’ for that. But I’m not holding my breath.
Dory, can your mail be put on the Pharo web page, the contributions part? It
seems that with a bit of polishing it would fit in well there, and this way

Why move there? Just because Unreal is using it and dropped Slack doesn't
mean it doesn't work for a small community like ours.
I would avoid adding noise here and stick with what already works. It took
us some time to reach ~250 members in https://pharoproject.slack.com/.

Discord server and that is 10.000 messages limit. Not only Slack asks
payment for more but it also deletes anything that passes that limit.

services for free. So it's not like Pharo after all.
Another advantage I found is that part of the plans is a screen sharing

Hold your horses we still testing it out. No need to rush things. Stick
with Slack, that's fine.
I don't know about linking Slack and Discord. Personally I don't see the
point, when we created Slack , the IRC channel died out. The same will
happen to slack if discord proves as good as we assume it
