Hi all! Questions on this topic -- where (online? mail it in? resources?)
can I get a 1400 battery rebuilt? What kind of performance/results after
the rebuild? Does it cost significantly less than new battery? Not heard
of this before and am quite intrigued... Thanks very much...

Exactly -- I don't have that bit yet, but it is supposed to be much more

Yes, I've often wondered if the newer Macs (G4 and all that) are compatible
with the IR features of things like Palm units (with the Palm software
installed, of course). Palm doesn't support IR transfer for my 1400cs, or

reconditioned old one? I'm interested simply because my original one won't
work for longer than 16 minutes or so -- even with the reconditioning
program (run a number of times, under 7.6.1 and 8.1). I have hesitated
