Tony,
Sorry, but as I was poking around, clicking on links ... that link at the top
of the page is wrong (Patched I2C drivers (I2C_IO_REXT) for SMSQ) it should be:

Tobias,
Direct SPI to an SD card. Hmmmn. That's a good point, but actually the SD
card feature is almost a secondary feature of the USBWiz. Don't forget that
it also works directly with USB mass storage class devices (hard disks,
memory sticks etc.)
Just to be clear, I have not implemented a F
Does anyone have a copy of any of the following Talent software, which
will run from disk (ie. without copy protection) as I can re-release it:
Assembler Workbench (the latest version I have is v1.5)
Basic Ally
RAM Disk and Spooler
I have working copies of these, but they are all copy protected

An EPROM dump for examining would also a be good idea...;-)

Tobias,
I agree 100% with everything you say. And ... by the way ... USBWiz can
talk SPI, which is where I'm coming from with all of this. With a faster
throughput it suddenly becomes more possible to use the other USBWiz
functions, such as keyboard and mouse and maybe ... just maybe ... a USB

On the new QL hardware front, it would probably be easiest to build a
system which boots directly into an emulator of some kind, probably
under a stripped down Linux kernel.
With this in mind, what about looking as this hardware platform?:
