the Noveau project to come up with open source 3D graphics.
In addition, I think it is the downloaded version of Ubuntu 9.04 I

9.04 PPC: fbdev wrongly configured in X

the radeonhd driver. I had to set Option AccelMethod xaa instead of

Sorry, it's not a module problem. I mispelled fglrx (flgrx :D). It's
actually a fglrx problem, nothing that Ubuntu can fix. You know why?

just wait until Catalyst 10 is released and support xorg 1.7.

I'm still not certain if this is the most appropriate place to post
about the bug. I am unable to run Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Ubuntu UNR 9.10 live
CDs so I am thinking this is a significant bug.
This evening I was eventually able to stop the flickering with sudo stop gdm.

is an experimental one and does not provide necessary graphical environment.
There is no reason to install it.
One should use the official driver nvidia-current (190.53-0ubuntu8) for NVidia
