For 4.3 development purposes, I have been running the CloudStack Management

I also checked Dynamically Scalable option in registering templates.

Hi All,
In the last month I had successfully deployed cloudstack 4.0.2 on 2
physical machines (one was VT enabled ubuntu host and other was ubuntu
management server ).
Can anyone please tell me, whether it possible to deploy cloudstack on 2
virtual machines?
Thanks,
Jitendra
Francesco,
I believe you need to add a firewall rule to allow ingress ICMP traffic. Once
allowed you should be able to ping it.

An easy way out is to clear the last_host_id in the vm_instance table and

If you are trying to ping the public IP of the VR it will not respond due to
security settings, however the SSVM and CPVM do respond.

Hi guys,
I cannot ping internet from VMs.
Pinging from Virtual Router is ok.
In addition, SSVM are reachable from outside (storage/proxy ssvm) through
addresses configured in public network range, Virtual router is not
reachable (but can ping internet).
Any idea?

So if i understand correctly:
if we create a vm with offering network WITHOUT dhcp ( like
QuickCloudNoService ) and we want terminate it, we can not
because there is a bug that NEED to remove dhcp service from
virtual nic assigned to this network.
Due to the bug, you are unable to remove netowrk from VM, if that network's
network offering does not have DHCP as the service.
And you will not be possible to delete such VMs, that are connected to the
netowrk without DHCP service in it's offering.
This is 4.2 bug...
On 19 December 2013 15:36,
Andrei,
The QuickCloudNoService Network Offering provides no DHCP, or any other
services (clues in the name) so it's not really a bug as the add / remove NIC
features require DHCP to be enabled on the Network.
I have tested this procedure using the default

Hi,
There is no other way to change the ip.
If you want specific IP for the VM, you can get secondary ip in vm NICs page
and configure it on the VM.
