I really enjoyed the film as well, though it was somewhat predictable.

What I enjoyed most was the cinematography and that Detroit was so
recognizable, even with the CGI enhancements to make it look futuristic. It
was Detroit, but in the movie it was supposed to be LA. Har!

They said on the DVD (I think) that they had eliminated the markers to make
it look like any city but it's very clearly Sydney, I agree!
I just came back from NZ and was amazed at how they're using the filming of
Lord Of The Rings as a tourist attraction. Then I went to a market in South
Auckland and they were selling T-shirts Lord Of The Hood: Return Of The
Kingpin which cracked me up.

You're right Jeff. I think there is a little thing about naming your house
here. An Englishmens home is his Castle
quite a few people call their houses stupid names, I saw one once, in
cornwall, called TER-RAY-LYN
I thought it was some regional dialect thing (sounds cornish) but, infact,
it was a terrys, rays and lynns house.

I kid you not.

also, we all like to think we're a bit posh, when infact we're a right
bunch of gippos. buckingham palace etc etc.
my grandads house has got a name, i cant remember what it is though,
something daft.

sorry for the stooopid thread folks, my fault.
