I must appreciate the gentleman to have fought this battle.

Denial basis the interview in such jobs have become a norm and we need to find 
legal principals to secure our rights. And this is a step in that direction.

I am equally happy to note that the CCPD orders contain legal reasoning which 
makes them more meaningful.

[AI] positive verdict given by court for discrimination in providing job for visually impaired

NLC, (Naiveli lignite corporation) last year issued notification for
filling various posts under categories such as finance, HR, mining and
construction engineering and so on and provided reservations for PWD
as well.
They have reserved 1  post for visually impaired under HR.
My friend B.Balamurali Krishna also wrote the exam and scored very
good marks in the written exam so he was called upon to the interview.
However NLC deliberately eliminated all the visually impaired who
attended that interview in getting selected by giving very les marks
in the interview there by nun of the VI was selected and the vacancy
remained backlogged.
My friend challenged this and filed case against them in the court.
The court ruled in favor of him and gave judgement that instead of
keeping the post remain in backlog, reasonable accommodation should be
made and meritorious candidate among the VI should be selected by
providing some relaxation.
I  am attaching the judgement copy so that it will be a  reference for
the future aspirants.

These days many PSUs are doing the same.
They are either not calling the posts for VI at all or abusing their
all powers in eliminating them in the selection process.

We can achieve success only if we fight against them in these scenarios.
Our fight will lead to result only if we fight collectively.
