Hi Amar, Well I'm not aware of any feature in Jaws as such, but I guess there's one in Dolphin Supernova, wherein the text at the cursor location gets highlighted. Talking about an alternative method for Jaws users, what I usually do is highlight the text I am referring to, which makes it easy for the sighted person to locate the text on the screen. This may not be a very good idea when it comes to delivering formal presentations though. Or, can we define the size of screen in Jaws so that when in a document the matter reaches that defined size, Jaws alerts you to scrole down? Hello mam, Here are a couple of methods to collect data through questionnaires which I know. 1. You can create a questionnaire through google forms. Its a really cool Google docs feature, wherein, you can create and mail the questionnaires to the people you want to, And once they fill in the questionnaire and click on the submit button, the data is systematically arranged in the google docs spreadsheet, which can be imported to your hard disk as an excel file. The best way to collect data as far as I know, but as far as the creation of the forms/questionnaire is concerned, its not very accessible with Jaws. You need sighted assistance in some places to create the questionnaire. 2. Another way of doing it is, using the form toolbar in MS Word. This is an easier way of creating the questionnaire, but its a bit more work for the people filling it if you compare it to the earlier option. You may also have a hard time arranging the data in systematic order. Anyways, these were my opinions, and if you want, I can give you a guide which would help you to create questionnaires in MS Word. Hey Amar! I've been using an HP Netbook for 6 months now and its really handy. As far as the scanning is concerned, it doesnt really make a lot of difference. The portability of the netbook overshadows all the drawbacks it has. Hello sir, Even I was facing this problem with my memmory card. But just now I have found a solution to this problem. Actually there was a virus named autorun.ini in my card. This was causing the same problem as u are facing. I tried 3 to 4 antivirus softwares but failed. Finally, Nod 32 solved my problem. do scan your card with nod 32. Hopefully your problem will be solved. Hope this helps Abdul For a strange reason, my phone memory card, when connected to a pc through card reader, does not accept any files and is declared to be right protected. previously, it was not so, and I was able to transfer files to it via card reader. Would anyone please guide me as to how to remove this right protection of a memory card when interacting with computer? I could not find any such option in its properties. Yes my friend, There's something wrong. What u are doing is, pressing tab on the subject to read the full mail. Hello sir, Its obvious that jaws will not read that document as it has not been converted to text. In order to convert any image into text, you need an OCR software. (OCR stands for optical character recognision). You can also use fine reader to scan pages and convert them into text. Yes sir , you can say that, as most of the service providers claim more than the actual speed . As far as client is concerned, I have tried out Yahoo Messenger, G Talk , Rediff Bol and Skype. None of them seemed to be working. I'll tell you one more thing, a few days back, I attended the Hadley Seminar with the same connection and the quality of communication was absolutely fantastic. There were no voice breaks at all. How come this is possible, on one hand most of the messengers are not giving desired results and on the other hand with the same connection I was able to communicate successfully in that seminar. [AI] lost contacts in g mail
Hello friends, I have lost the E mail ID of my friend as it is no more in the contact list of my Gmail account. I had' not deleted it. I am not able to get it as his mails are neither in the trash nor in the sent list. Could anyone tell me how can I get it, is there any way? Hello my friend, I dont know what is the cause of this problem but I, more or less scan in the same way you have described. I scan the pages in the MS Office document Scanning which is available in MS Office 2003. Now, all these options which you are talking about is available in it and I am able to save a lot of time . I follow the steps which you have followed but I dont know what have you done to convert the image file into text. In my case, I choose the convert to Omni Page submenu by pressing the application key on the image file and, then select the desired format I want the text to appear in.
