Re: [AI] regarding railway concessions

2013-06-16 Thread surya narayana
Hi,
not only that, in their perspective, blind is different from
handicapped. even handicapped reserved berths are not alocated to
visually challenged people. I have argued and registered a complaint
in this regard but no concrete step has not been taken so far.

[AI] Info about NVIVO software:

2011-01-18 Thread surya narayana
Hello friends,
An NGO wants me to work for them for data analysis on NVIVO software.
I downloaded the software. Does anyone have any experience on the
above said software? If anyone have any experience please throw some
light on this. I have some questions on this:
1. Do we need any scripts to use this software?
2. Can a visually impaired person work on it without sighted help?
3. Is it easy to learn how to use this software?
4. Do we need to familiar anything before using this software?
Please send me your reply either on the list or to my personal mail ID.

because we use the laptop very frequently. Del's complete warrenty

Hello ashik bhai,
You can open your previous documents in office 2007 but you can't open
office 2007 documents in previous versions of office. you need to
install extra tool called fileformats.exe.If you need, I can upload it
for you. If you want to open your office 2007 documents in other
computers which in office 2003 or lesser, just save the documents as
their previous formats where you can find it in save dialog or save as
dialog. You'll certainly feel trouble with office 2007 menus. just
little bit practice is needed.

Re: [AI] Any positive experience from alternative treatments for RP?

2010-09-29 Thread surya narayana
Hello friends,
I heard one of our fellow men got some possitive results from
ayurvedic treatment. We can't say they are totally waste but useful to
some. I feel they may not be helpfull for a stone blind but may be
useful for those who lost their sight gradually or in some accidents.
let the scientsts come out their findings. hope for the best nothing
is impossible but takes time.

personally i've seen it. its not a touch screen phone. it has superb
keys even blind can easily operate. Of course touch screen phones can
be operated by severely visually impaired persons but it requires a

Re: [AI] Examinations

2010-09-03 Thread surya narayana
Hello madam,
My views are:
1. the technological developements may be taken in to consideration
like computers. computers can be used to read out the question paper
and may be answered by a scribe or on the computer.
2. The scribe may be choosen by the candidate himself and strict
invigilation may be taken up.
3. Like U G C special questions may be given instead of diagrams and
figures. or from such questions blind may be exempted.
4. Extra time should be awarded in case of both online and off line
exams. In our state; most of the v i candidates are still suffering in
IIITs because they are not provided any fecility for extra time for
their online exams.
5. special care may be taken to verrify the answer sheets of visually
challenged persons. because i lost a well answered exam by the small
mistake of the scribe.
Thanks alot for taking my views in consideration.
Thanks and regards,
Suryanarayana.

can understand who is their men. here we are disabled possibities are
less. moreover its hard to recognise the disability in short duration
of time before the train moves.

hello friends,
i requested all the guard and railway police force. but no use.
because there was no chart on the compartment containing my
reservation details. even if there's any chart, how can we ask the
handicapped fellow men to vacate the seat? they too have the right to
sit on the seats as well as other passingers. it is pity to note that
it is totally irrelavant to make arrangements to reserve seats in
disabled compartment.

Re: [AI] Railway budget with out mentioning needs of persons withdisabilities

2010-02-25 Thread surya narayana
Hello folks,
Can't we take the issue to the parliament? If possible, we can take
the special needs of disabled with the members of parliament. The
organizations working for the disabled should have a conversation with
some of the oppositions members. they will have the option to rage the
issue when debate takes over. forwarding a memorundam doesn't solve
the problem. Why don't we send the representation to the some of
intellectuals? I hope some of us will take the responsibility right
now.
Yours,
Surya.

Because of the slow internet connection I’m unable to download the

the best solution to this problem. Even you need not to split the
files. You can upload up to 2.5 GB at a time. Just you have to create
account then Install the drop box folder and paste the file which you
want to upload in the public folder in Drop Box folder. The file will
be uploaded to the Drop Box server and you can get the download link,
which you can paste in the mails. I like one great feature is that, it
has the resume capability for both upload and for download. After one
week, you can delete the file from the drop box server. It has so many
features so just try the link

 www.dropbox.com

If you want any further information, please contact me off the list to
prevent unnecessary mail traffic in the list.

 With warm regards
