About google api and email sending

2024-09-12 Thread Pedro Jose Avila Moreno
I am currently integrating Oauth to use the Email Send API in PHP using a
workspace account and following the guide provided by Google, we need to
get an access token and then that same token can be refreshed if it expires
with the refresh_token . My question is general. Can the token expire? Is
there a limit on token upgrades? Because if I send an email I won't log
into Google every time I need to send an email, the idea is that the email
will be sent automatically.

Basic Access to Google Ads API

2024-04-09 Thread 'Pedro Ceriotti' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hey there,

I've submitted this form
multiple
times requesting basic access to the Google Ads API, but haven't heard back
so far. For reference, our Google Ads Manager account is Nekt
(955-941-9827).

We really need to integrate with production Google Ads accounts in order to
serve our clients with campaign reporting data. As mentioned in the
application, our company is currently in stealth mode, thus there's not a
lot of public information available at this point.

However, if there's any information missing and/or you need more
clarification about our company or use case, don't hesitate to reach out to
us and we'll be glad to clarify.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks!

2024-04-09 Thread 'Pedro Ceriotti' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I've been trying to get Basic Access to the Google Ads API for a couple of
weeks now, but I never heard back from Google in any of the applications I
submitted.

Can you please get in touch so I can understand the status of my
application and if there's anything wrong with my applicatio? We're really
looking forward to use the API, as it's part of our product roadmap.

My Google Ads Manager account ID is: 955-941-9827

Thanks,

Re: Google Ads Developer Token

2024-03-26 Thread Pedro
Sorry, it seems part of the message was lost:

I submitted the request to upgrade my Developer Token from test to basic
two weeks ago, but haven't received any update since.

Does anyone have any idea on how long this usually takes? Or if there's
anything one can do to speed it up? Is there any way to contact support?

My API implementation is blocked by this issue. Thanks.

Google Ads API Basic Access token request months ago

2024-03-26 Thread Pedro Leadstaker
Hello,

I've applied for the basic Google Api Acess via form 2 months ago. We
applied again multiple times in the following weeks.
Me and my team also submitted two times on the support form.
We ended up halting Google integration for a month, returning to it only
this week.

I don't have any case IDs as I've heard nothing from Google regarding the
submission.

My MCC is 987-248-7396.

Many Thanks,
Vítor L. Klock

Enhanced lead conversions and offline conversion client summaries

2023-07-19 Thread Pedro Garcia
Hello!

I have a couple of questions related to sending leads conversions using the
API and sending user ids instead of the GCLID.

1. If I want to send the leads with their purchase value using their user
identifiers, I should use the endpoint
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/conversions/upload-identifiers,

but first I should send the user identifiers using the GTM or GTAG on the
web page so that Google Ads has them. Am I right?, is it possible to send
the leads directly without sending the data via GTM or GTAG beforehand?, or
do I have to do all this sending flow?

2. Following on from sending leads, would it be possible to send the click
conversion using the API only without sending data previously using GTM or
GTAG? As if I did an original import of offline click conversions through
the API, do you know what I mean? I have tried to do it but I don't see any
conversion in the Ads dashboard (I understand that it is because I don't
send the user identifiers previously through GTM or GTAG).

3. Until recently I had no way to check the status of the offline
conversion submission via the API, but in API version 14 an endpoint has
been opened for this
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/conversions/upload-summaries.
If I try to use it, the API can take hours without resolving the request
and has sometimes returned a 500 error from Google's servers. When will
this functionality be fully operational?

Thank you!

Access test acount via API

2022-09-20 Thread 'Pedro Henrique Dias Junqueira de Souza (he)' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
I'm trying to access a Test Account by using the Google Ads API.

First, I got my Developer Token from a production Google Ads Admin Account
(or MCC). Then, I got the OAuth 2.0 credentials and refresh token from
Google Cloud Platform, and I'm able to load and use those credentials
adequately.

The problem is, I'm not able to access a test account with said
credentials. In order to create a Test Account, I had to create a Google
Ads Admin Test Account (which can't be linked to my production Admin
Account), and then a Test Account inside the Admin Test Account.

I suppose this actually makes sense since I'm using two separate Admin
Accounts (Test and Production) with, and it should work adequately if I was
able to get my developer token from the Admin Test Account instead of the
production Admin Account, but I can't do this since my Admin Test Account
UI does not display any options to access the API Center, so, how am I
supposed to authenticate to manage the Test Account via API?

Getting Audiences From API Issues

2022-05-03 Thread João Pedro
Hello!

I'm having some issues when i try to get the audiences data from API.
The code I'm using is:

from google.ads.googleads.client import GoogleAdsClient

client_g = GoogleAdsClient.load_from_storage(version="v9")
ga_service = client_g.get_service("GoogleAdsService")
client_customer_id = 'my great ID'

query = """
 SELECT
 audience.id,
 audience.resource_name,
 audience.name,
 audience.status,
 audience.description,
 audience.dimensions,
 audience.exclusion_dimension
FROM audience
"""

search_request = client_g.get_type("SearchGoogleAdsStreamRequest")
search_request.customer_id = client_customer_id
search_request.query = query
stream = ga_service.search_stream(search_request)

ERROR: Request made:, Host: googleads.googleapis.com, Method:
/google.ads.googleads.v9.services.GoogleAdsService/SearchStream,, IsFault:
True, FaultMessage: Unrecognized fields in the query:
'audience.exclusion_dimension', 'audience.status', 'audience.dimensions',
'audience.description', 'audience.resource_name', 'audience.id',
'audience.name'.

This variable query I've found here:
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/remarketing/audiences

And the example of the code here:
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/reporting/streaming

What I don't understand is: if I've found all this in the documentation, it
supposed to work, not fail. And I tried to run with 'campaign', 'adgroup'
instead of 'audience' and it worked. What should I do?

Campaign end date

2021-06-07 Thread Pedro Gramaça
When creating a remote campaign on Google Ads on 2021-04-21, we request
end_date = "2021-04-28", but the created campaign has end_date =
"2021-04-29" on the remote server.

We have only noticed this in summer time in Portugal (UTC+1), could this be
due to some conversion between timezones, as the campaign's end date is set
to 23h59 of the asked date?

I find it weird that when i try to clear a campaign's end date i receive
this following error.

Is there an alternative way of clearing this field?

Thanks,

How to check for token usage and make sure requests are made in a valid account

2020-05-29 Thread Pedro Tanaka
Hello,

I am developing a custom application to report click conversions for a
google ads account linked to my company using Google AdWords API.

The marketing department tells me that no conversions have arrived in the
account, but on the other side I see that the requests are successful on my
application logs. In order to clarify things, I would like to know if they
can check if requests are being made with the developer token they gave me
directed at their accounts.

How can I check that?

Developer token prohibited

2019-07-01 Thread 'Pedro Da Silva' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi,

we have a set of service account credentials that are currently being used
to access google AdWords with a given developer token. Now that we have
service accounts available for Google Ads API, we wanted to use those same
credentials and developer token to access this API on behalf of SDC.
However, we are being barred by the following error:

```
>, errors {
 error_code {
authorization_error: DEVELOPER_TOKEN_PROHIBITED
 }
 message: "Developer token \'\' is not allowed with
project \'\'."
}
```

We find this weird because the service account credentials are allowed to
access the scope for google adwords (which is the same for google ads) on
GSuite, and that project does have google ads enabled.

Could you guys please help us understand what we are missing and how can we
fix this?

Thank you for your help

Pedro

BatchJobMutateResponse - campaignLabel operand not returning the campaignId

2018-06-19 Thread pedro . alegre

Hi,

I have a list of BatchJobOperation to create a structure with campaigns,
keywords, assign labels, ads, etc.
All the operations are executed successfully in AdWords and I get the
results back. When I try to apply the results to my local database, I
encounter an issue with the campaignLabelOperation with operator "ADD".
The campaignId parameter in campaignLabel operand is null but I need it to
apply the label to my campaigns in my database (screenshot in attachement).
I reckon the campaignId should be there, because the campaignLabelOperation
is executed after the campaignOperation with operator "ADD" and if I don't
have the campaignId I can't apply the label to the corresponding campaign.
Is this an issue that is going to be fixed or is this normal behavior?

Appreciate your time.

Best regards,
Pedro Alegre

adGroupAdRotationMode on Adgroup Performance Report

2017-12-08 Thread Pedro Calgaro
Hello guys,

On version v201710, the api changed to not accept setting
AdServingOptimizationStatus
on campaign level, only adGroupAdRotationMode on ad groups level.

The problem is, although we can set the new field on AG level, we can't
retrieve this value with Adgroup Performance Report. Is there any plans to
add this field on the report?

Thank you.

I am trying to do that in a way similar to the bidding process we currently
use but I think I have my object hierarchies mixed up. I'm not quite sure
how to tell the API that I wish to *update* the custom attribute like I do
with the CPC bid - including it within the criterion just seems to use it
as a filter. I'm including an annexed file with one (failed) code example
and one working code I'm currently using for the bid update.

Could anyone shed a light on this? I'd be very grateful - tried out many
differente combinations and nothing worked.

Thanks!

Re: Changing a custom label for a SKU via the Python API?

2015-08-06 Thread pedro . pupo
Thanks for the reply! I shouldn't have said "labels", tho - what I mean is
a CustomAttribute dimension - we just call them 'labels' internally. I want
to change the value of a single dimension while keeping everything else
intact. Sorry for the confusion!

Changing a custom label for a SKU via the Python API?

2015-08-06 Thread pedro . pupo
Hello!

we have a custom product partition tree set up at our account with a custom
label as the biddable unit node. We use an internal proccess to change this
custom label based on past product performance; however, though the data
extraction and calculation of the new custom label value is done by a
Python script, changing the custom label value itself is currently done by
an outside proccess.

is there any way to change the value of a custom label (or any given
product partition dimension) for a given SKU by a API call, while keeping
other dimensions and the product tree itself intact?

thank you very much,

Pedro

Downloading Campaigns reports from multiple Clients managed by an MCC

2015-07-31 Thread Pedro Devoto
Hi. I'm developing an app for an MCC. We need to download YESTERDAY reports
on an hourly basis. Why on an hourly basis? Because we work with multiple
APIs and it is the best approach we found to avoid possible errors and to
be sure that we are getting the most up to date consolidated information.
The problem is that we have around 160 managed clients (although most of
them are inactive), and our Basic access gives us a limit of 1,000 reports
per day. So we would be downloading around 160 reports per hour, giving a
total of 3,840 per day.

At first I thought that I might query each managed client's campaigns to
see if any of them are active, before downloading the report, to minimize
the amount of reports downloaded. But then I realised that the fact that a
managed client has all its campaigns inactive does not mean that they were
inactive all along yesterday.

My question is what is my best approach? Is the 1,000 reports per day limit
that hard/strict? Maybe it does not count if I download the same report
over and over again? Or maybe it is a limit per client ID?

I know I can also apply for a Standard access token. Would that solve my
problem?

Thank you

SearchResults remarketing several listings

2015-05-06 Thread Pedro Pereira
Hi guys,

Implementing dynamic remarketing code for an accommodation rentals website
and have a few questions. Already tried finding a solution but it seems it
is all very built around key verticals and it is hard to understand how
flexible dyn. remkt is.

1. Imagine I am implementing the real estate vertical for home,
searchresults, offerdetail, purchase page.
Is it possible to in the searchresults identify several listings as such:

dataLayer.push({
'listing_id': [unique id of house1, unique id of house2, unique id of
house3, unique id of house4],
'listing_pagetype': “searchresults”,
'listing_totalvalue' : “”
});

The objective here is to show all these properties in the dynamic ads
afterwords.

2. 'listing_totalvalue' : “” -> What is the objective of using it since
the price is already given in the feed csv? does this one overwrite the CSV
price and thus the value in the dynamic ad? is this more destined to
shopping carts with several items?

3. Considering the different types of implementation that you can do for
dynamic remarketing (datalayer push vs google_tag_params vs ga set
dimensions & analytics audiences) which one is the most robust and clearer
for you guys to implement?

Traffic estimator service: discrepancy between API and UI results

2014-01-10 Thread João Pedro Lisboa
Hi all,

I am using the most recent version of Adwords API (v201309) and I am having
problems with Traffic Estimator service.
When I perform the a query through API, results don't match with UI.

For example, I want to do a query to find the estimated traffic for the
keyword "sapato masculino" (men's shoes), restricted to Brazil and
Portuguese language. I do it for a set of bids, in order to find out the
best initial bit to set up on my keyword settigns. The problem is that when
I do the same query through Adwords UI, it results in different numbers.
API's results are always more optimist. When I set the bit to a high value,
such as R$ 99,99, the number of impressions are the same for the both
results. But the maximum values for average position, cpc and CTR (and,
consequently, number of clicks) is never the same --> API's results are
better then UI's. Of course, I am using the same account for the both of
methods...

Can somebody helps me please?

Following is my source code (in C#). I perform the test for values from
R$0,01 to R$0,10. Only the maximum number of impressions matches with UI's
results:

Re: TV Ads

2011-05-23 Thread Pedro Gorrín
Hi Eric,

Thanks for the replay at least now i am aware of what i can't do. I will
like to ask you other question, this is really important for me. I have
check that it is possible to get all the information from the TV Ads using
the API can you conform me that. In other words by using the AdWords API
with the specific TV Ad ID i will be able to Display and Update the TV Ad.

Sorry if this may sound lazy is just that i am working only in the sandbox
and as you know i can't create TV Ads and there is not UI for the sandbox
where i can create them, I already apply for the access to the API through
my MCC account. but it is taking some time to be approved.

Regards and thanks for all the help.

Well this has happened since I started testing the ported version of
the application, which is a week before the first of February. I have
always encountered this problem, is not something that started now. As
a comparison, the same application that uses v13 API has no problems
at all.

AdWords API Error - Not agreed to latest AdWords Api terms and conditions

2010-02-04 Thread Pedro
I'm trying to develop a small app using the API but when I try to run
it I always come across the following error:
"Not agreed to latest AdWords Api terms and conditions."

I've logged in with my MCC account to check if there was any alert on
the new Terms & Conditions but there's nothing. I've also checked the
same on all the clients and I see now option to agree with the T&S.

Has anybody had the same problem and was able to solve it? I'd
appreciate any insight on the problem.

Thanks in advance

AdWords API Requests per minute limit

2010-02-04 Thread Pedro Morales
Hello everyone,

I'm working porting a v13 application to v2009 and I'm having problems
because I keep getting a QUOTA_EXCEEDED error with the number of
requests per minute (RequestsPerMinute).
I didn't found any information about this in Google's documentation.

With v13 I didn't have any issue with the same amount of requests.
Right now, only around 2 per minute are passing and I'm not using the
sandbox.

Is there any way to know the request per minute limit? Is there some
way around this limit?

Thanks in advance.

AdWords API getUnitCountForMethod

2009-06-05 Thread pedro

Has anyone got this to work properly in a multi level account
environment? The figures that I getting are much lower than I get for
getUnitCount and I am pretty sure that the method I am passing (to the
method) is the method that is using most of the units?

Jeff

Thanks for clarifying this and your quick response.

I have noticed that my program is a bit slow so maybe I will recode it
to perform the way you suggest.

Thanks again.

I have been experiencing this too. I thought initially it was my
server running out of space but now that someone else is getting this
behaviour I am more suspicious. I will investigate my situation more
and report back.

AdWords API (503)Service Unavailable

2008-10-09 Thread pedro

I have had several "(503)Service Unavailable" errors at approx 16:00
British Summer time, while doing a routine which basically runs lots
of criterionService.updateCriteria(criteria). Is there an issue with
the Google servers or am I just loosing my connection?

This is the default behaviour, I believe. Sandbox doesn't produce
