Re: [AFMUG] Problem with Mimosa G2 & 100Mb routers
C5 is negotiating at 1G but the router is obviously only negotiating at 100Mb. I don't see this issue on any G2's in routed mode or any G2's in passthru with a 1g client behind it. Are the ports negotiating at 1Gbps? I just checked the client we have and he has had peaks of over 40Mbps although 95% of his bandwidth is under 10Mbps. Re: [AFMUG] Problem with Mimosa G2 & 100Mb routers
I’m sort of confused. Why are you using a G2 if you have your own router? The issue: Client Router receives very poor download no matter what signal conditions are like. Download capped around 10Mb/s. Upload was unaffected. The equipment: A5 – 2.2.1 Version – GPS Synced C5 – 2.2.1 Version – GPS Synced G2 in passthru – 1.1.2 Version Client Router – Asus N600 The problem: G2 has an issue with 100Mb routers. Plugging in a 1Gb client into the passthrued G2 resulted in full speed. Plugging a 100Mb router caused the download to drop to 10Mb/s levels. The solution: 1. Replace G2 with regular power supply, fixed issue. 2. In C5 change the duplex from auto to 100MF, fixed issue while still using G2.

Not sure if anyone else is deploying the Mimosa platform en-mass but came across a new issue today in case you're fighting with things.
