According to my experiences PICT or JPEG are the picture formats being used. But anyway its probably a good idea to let the submitter check what formats are in the clipboard. There is a tool pasteboardpeeker that could serve or purposes here. The binary is not that big so I will attach it to this issue. Its fairly simple to use. I have a simple c# program that opens a doc hidden and closes it again, This is
to just show this issue.
When I run the program a second time the call to bootstrap hangs, I have to
then kill the program and soffice.bin before I can use any openoffice programs.
The document I am opening is the rtf spec saves a a odt file.
If I run it without hidden it does not have the issue. also if I run and
connect to a socket its works.
I think it is to do with the number of tables in the document.
The code is in c# and run on windows XP.
Open Office is quick start is running.

Note that this is not an issue that occurs when you try to print, but rather a crash when *opening* documents previously saved after being printer. As has been pointed out, there are already other forms of licensing in parts of the code integrated within OOo, under alternative permissive with certain restrictions licenses. Whilst I can understand that having all the code under one hat so to speak, makes life a hell of a lot easier for those who have to manage, sell, defend it, etc, we are not exactly breaking new ground (in terms of code management) with a code submission such as this, and indeed I would say again that is has been done before, and could be done again. Steps to reproduce the error: 1) Open the template or create a new document based on it (either way the results are the same) 2) When prompted to update links to other files, select Yes (if you select no, the cell is not updated) 3) Check the contents of the cell C14 I unzipped the file and searched content.xml for the string file but I could not find any match. This is because the file originally contained links to other files using with the file:// syntax (I do not know if there is another syntax possible). So my guess is that Calc is reading some content and mistaking it as a link. This could be a bug. In any case, cell G14 is being written with an undesired value. This is a bug from my point of view. Create or open an Impress presentation 2. Select and right click with mouse (ctrl-c with keyboard) on a slide in the Slide Pane and select Copy 3. Open a Writer document (new or existing) 4. Select Edit - Paste Special 5. Select Impress 8 and press OK 6. Blank image appears. If you paste using any of the other 3 special options or right click and paste with your mouse (ctrl-v with keyboard) you will get the text but no background image. This has been confirmed on 3 separate installations on Windows XP SP2 and various processors. More information: Using the Aquire - Paste as New option in GIMP 2.2.17 and the New from Clipboard option in Photoshop Elements 2 yield the same results as a straight ctrl-v into a Writer text document. Ironically, a straight copy and paste from Impress to Draw seems to work. However, Draw to Writer does not. I hope this additional information will help solve this issue. This is an important feature since I create workbooks that have the presentation slides on the left page with text on the right page. I remember this working properly back around 2.0. Although it might not be used in the document, it still is listed somewhere in the XML code and so OOo wants that link to be updated. You get this problem if you create a link to an other spreadsheet like ='file:///C:/Dokumente_und_Einstellungen/Rainer/Eigene_Dateien/TEMP/oootestfiles/82226_links/testfile.ods'#$template.C9 (create it with = - click on cell in other document - enter) and delete the cell contents with the link afterwards. The link to the other document will remain (and is visible in the dialogue box), although it is not really used in the document. I can not see any sense in that behaviour, but currently I am not sure whether this is a bug or a feature. This problem also existed in older OOo versions. But put it before [mpWindow setFrame: , then fullscreen simply works = see fullscreen_carbon.diff patch 2) use to hide the menubar+the dock: [NSMenu setMenuBarVisible:NO]; to show them again: [NSMenu setMenuBarVisible:YES]; = see fullscreen_cocoa.diff patch Discussion: The first patch is more interesting if we want to keep the menubar appear when the cursor hits on top of the screen, but this is Carbon, close to end of life.
