When I googling, I found this one: Let's check this one. Mr. Romeo - The Soundtrack Hi all, I got to listen (and enjoy) to this soundtrack, it was released last week, so I decided to do a review on it , here it goes: Movie: 'Mr. Romeo' Music: A.R. Rahman Lyrics: Vairamuthu and Vali Direction: Ravi Production: R.B.Southri 'super good films' Soundtrack: Pyramid AV international PTE. Ltd. Wow, A.R.Rahman is amazing, Mr.Romeo has a total of 6 songs, and 4 of them are really unique. What amazes me are the new singers, where are these people coming form? And how many more are there? 1) Romeo attam potal Singers: Udit Narayanan, Hariharan Lyrics: Vairamuthu This is a fast song, totally about Prabudeva - how he started to dance (by accident?), well Vairamuthu has some of his creative techniques embedded in the song. This track will give you some inspiration but it sounds similar to 'shanthi' from Love Birds. Udit (Kulu valilay) is Ok, Hariharan is good. In summary this is a good title song. 2) Yar adhu? Singers: Anto, Chandran, Srivas, Noel James Lyrics: Vairamuthu This is new to Thamil music, A.R has integrated 'Jungle music' into eastern music. I know for sure that Jungle music is famous is England, But I am not sure where it came from?, anyhow A.R has done a very good job integrating these two extreme music together. I did not like this song that much because I am not a fan of Jungle music, I have difficulty finding the beat pattern in Jungle music. I don't have too much to day about the lyrics because it is short and repeating - just like a techno song. 3) Mel isaiyae Singers: Unni Menen, Swarnalatha, Srinivas, Sujatha Lyrics: Vairamuthu Excellent slow song!, the beat can be compared to a typical House beat, I really like the humming, both main singers are great. I should say something about the Tabla mixes, for those of who enjoyed the tabla mixes from 'Oruvan Oruvan' - 'Muthu' yeah!, in this song there are great Tabla mixes, and I can't believe the clarity of them, - great song, but at some points the background beat (house beat) sounds boring. 4) Thaneerai Khadalikum Singers: Sangeetha Sajith Lyrics: Vairamuthu Are you ready for New Age?, well this is it!, this is Tamil new age music!, Excellent Excellent mixes my A.R., the interludes are amazing. A.R has done some voice flanging in this song, this man really knows the technology, and unlike most of us he is using it! The lyrics are alright - a bit sexy at some points. A very good song, it also has an R&B flavour. 5) Muthu Muthu Mazhai Singers: Ila Arun Lyrics: Vairamuthu This is my favourite. This song is different, it is formed by mixing Thamil's own 'Koothu music' and west Indian 'Chutney' music. I love this song!, it makes me dance (even in the bus), wonderful dolak/tabla mixes. Obviously there is a mistake in the names of the artists, because there is a male voice and a female voice. But the female's name is missing. The female voice is so unique - I have no Idea who it is and how she is signing - but she has a different voice, actually it is not her voice it is the way she sings the song - amazing, music mixes are so great, Keep it up A.R. 6) Monalisa Singers: M.Vasudevan, Nagoor Mohammed ali Lyrics: Vali In a certain way, this song is different too but it is more like a Bhangra song, and a baila song and it is also a ghazal. Well that's why I say it is different! Even though the lyrics are not sad the tone of the song is sad. A.R. has used Ghazal pieces as if someone if rapping at the background. This song also reminds me of an old song it goes some what like 'Rathi pona pinnalea'. Vali is talking in English now, he is into English poems, His next assignment is in Hollywood. OK, I lied, but Why is Vali using all this English terms? Except for that part this is an ok song. The CD I bought was from PYRAMID, who are the original distributors for the soundtrack. Listeners should never support Pirated CDs or Cassettes. Buying Pirate musical sources will not give enough money and appreciation for the artists to get a quality job done. Depressing is a new description for "Water" songs. Does anybody have the lyrics page for "Water" songs? I guess it has not been released out yet. Atleast I was not able to find any page that gave me the lyrics. I got "Vaishnava Jan To" lyrics from one of Mahatma Gandhi websites. If anybody wants to read those lyrics and the translation of the same, pls let me know. Hi guys, Was wondering what are the next films in ARR's list for the end of this year..Any mega hits for diwali? GODFATHER is very doubtful.. Jillendru Oru Kadhal i guess would be by next year as well as PULI. A/C quiet at the moment.. It would be great to have Rehman during this festive season..Diwali + Raya..There's where the market is too.. I saw a few pics of his new studio and gosh!! Its amazing..Thats a good message that something is erupting in that studio which is goin to bang the world with a record breaking masterpiece...Even when i listen to ARR and HJ, i prefer the sound and loops in ARR song, the creativity and the techniques used..The quality is good and better.. released.It appears that he has used KX5 to control VarioOS [New
{NAMM2005} release from Roland].

no doubts Water is a gr8 album. But it bothers me that it might not taste the commercial success. So even if it is immortal it will be only in the hearts of few. My dear co-rahmaniacs, This is just an another mail about our beloved boss's concerts... I was also one of the luckiest 3 and odd ppl who were at bangalore to get drenched in the heavy rains of "power of nature" and "power of legendary music". I thought of writing a big mail abt the concert to all of the rahmaniacs here only to find out that i was not fast enough. So, i resisted ditto-ing ppl's feelings. But trust its been the 5th night since concert. But even now when i am alone, my mind immediately gets switched on the blore concert mood and tears start rolling out unconsciously with me getting caught in the concert's thoughts. So i decided to put a word or two across all my fellow rahmaniac's hoping atleast this will pacify me. Everything was perfect abt the concert. I still remember his first appearance on stage assuring us the most awaited performance. The entire crowd went beserk. And when again i saw him in white and white suite, he looked to me as if I m seeing the "angel of music" before me. That scene is still haunting me Trust me, I have attended only two concerts in my entire life. The first was "Unity of Lights" in chennai and now the "rain showering concert" in majestic bangalore. Everytime my love, affection, slavery, affinity and all the co-related adjectives "n" folds. Feel like writing more...but again tears have started flowing... Just a small request, can anyone of u post here the list of songs that were played in that order. If it has been already posted , please do forgive me...Just let me know that... Hi All, I am very new to the group. But as a fellow, who enjoyed the ARR's concert in blore, even now I am not able to forget the first moment I saw him on the stage. Believe me; the show influenced me a lot as whenever rain comes, I feel to sing "fana" which came to me as the first relief in the heavy rain. Even though we missed some songs as "Ae Ajnabi" from Dilse, "Yuhin chala chal" from Swades etc.. It was a brilliant show!! After listening to an entire range of ARR's albums till date, I have never been able to completely agree with an entire album at one go. There have always been songs which I would carefully avoid listening to in comparison to other songs in the album. For example: ayyo pathikichu in rhythm when you could really melt into the beauty of nathiye nathiye... (this is my humble opinion, i dont want to ruffle any feathers)... However, in case of Water, the entire album was agreeable to me. Every song is a wonder in its own right. I had never imagined Gandhiji's favorite bhajan to have been immortalised this beautifully. What ARR did to Vande Mataram, he probably did more to Vaishnava Jan To. Other songs also are immensely beautiful. Srivatsa has commented that you can listen to the songs as is. Thats exactly why these songs are so immensely beautiful. You could tolerate Madhusree's Tamizh in that Sanda Kozhi song because of the beautiful orchestration. Madhushree might not be able to sing so flawlessly any of the Water songs. It takes a genius to sing these songs so beautifully. Sukhi, as ARR so lovingly called Sukhwinder Singh at the Bangalore concert, is a true and genuine singer. I had told a friend that Water is a puritan's delight. Music for the sake of itself, untainted and pure. Every song has a Hindustani Classical Raga base. Personally, I vote Water as ARR's best yet. I was not surprised when ARR himself said this. Being a brilliant composer himself, I believe he said this because of the breadth of range that he could experiment with. And that too with voice alone. Thats pure music. Hi Sahil, Really enjoyed your analysis what makes ARR music different from others. Almost my sentiments. However, I would like to add a frequently forgotten point about his degree in (English Classical) music from Trinity College, Oxford, England, UK. This degree may (in part) have given him greater insight into music outside India. It appears to me (and I could be totally incorrect) that ARR then using his greater knowledge merged the two, i.e. western and Indian music in his compositions. We have seen a lot of western classical fused with indian classical in many of his compositions, especially the recent ones, including Water (which he composed a while back) Neena. Hi Chelva, May be opinion differs... But still I can understand Y rahman has given "Water" 10/10. The songs are directly meant for heart. Even Without a bgm ,the songs of water would make anyone's soul heavier. "Water" ,personally I feel is his best...
