The lyrics was told by Vairamuthu himself... and song i have feeling that it
was a planned leak by the sivaji troupe... it cant be some outsider...
obviously arr or shankar wont be really careless in such things... i ve a
feeling that this was leaked knowingly to find the first public opinion...
may be i m wrong but this is what i feel.. cos if u remember the audio
release was scheduled on march 20th and later it was postponed... and this
song came in, on march 20th if i m correct... plus this song was already
there in the youtube shivaji shooting clips...

Its true that some of sivajis songs are all over orkut!.I will surely buy
the original cd watever happens.C'mmon i bought water in february but i
heard them ages ago. my anxiety got the better of me and i did download the
songs( i'm not able to delete them as i thought i should :P).But honestly we
have nothing to worry.ther are still umpteen songs that are still in the
offering on platter wen the original CD comes out.My wish remains that it
releases for everyguy b4 its heard by some CRAZY fans and associations.
But as the song goes "vah ji vah ji en jeevan sivaji music"-its splendid
but it comes distinct second best to sahana which has quickly become the
song of the season for me.Udit narayan had never sounded so amazing b4(
especially the two toned stanza oscillating between two overtones
alternately-- classic rahman).quick to point out that i have already deleted
sahana and will soon delete the other songs.Kindly understand the dilemma
and the beauty of waiting for rahmans score.

  As what as everyone saying that Sivaji songs were leaked is all false. I 
think the team has released it on the net for promotion purpose or something. 
The reason why I am saying this is because the tracks r in very good 
quality However after hearing all this 3 songs, I feel that Rahman is doing 
another experiment with his songs. But this time he is trying something very 
very new. All the songs r totally different.. It doesn't sound like a 
Rajini film song... but however three legends will never go wrong... 
   
  Here is a short review of these songs
   
  1.Sivaji Vaji Vaji. Hariharan and Madhishree
   
  A melodious song starts with a chinese musical instrument played I can 
say that this song doesn't has any english lyrics... But the singing style of 
Hariharan is as usual. This song sounds a little bit like Ay Hairathe... 
Another thing is, this songs beats r same through out the track... Its a 
mixture of western and indian.. Not much review I can give coz at my first 
hearing i dont llike this song very much... I dont know y i think it needs more 
growing on me...
   
  2. Oru Koodai Sunlight  Adnan Sami and Blazee
   
  The song starts like a famous english number Who leave The Dogs Out. Not 
much instrument used in this song... I can say this was the song that rahman 
composed with his laptop... There r a lot of sound effect through out this 
song However there is also a female singer in this song but i cant guess 
who is this We can also hear Rajini's voice here and there... He laughs  
hahaha...perhaps it could b famous but I dont really knowand this could b 
the intro song perhaps
   
  3. Sahara Pookal Udit Narayanan, Shreeya Ghosal (Female singer nt sure)
   
  Its a nice lovely ghazal song..This song sounds like a mixture of Kaatril 
song from GF. There where sounds of Mirithigam through out this song... This 
songs melody really catch me... Udit has done an amazing work... There were 
voice of rahman singing dim tana tana something ... in this song... You know 
this is my most favourite song among these three for now.. maybe the others 
needs some more growing on me...

Shekhar Kapur's The Golden Age (Elizabeth sequel) was previously supposed to be 
scored by ARR and Antonio Pinto. Now there's news of Craig Armstrong composing 
it (with ARR). Check www.filmmusicweekly.com (check page 4 of latest pdf file)
Scoring sessions are to start soon, it is mentioned.

Looks like Antonio Pinto is out. But what concerns me is the extent of ARR's 
participation in this (looks like it is getting small). FMW's article gives the 
impression that Armstrong is the primary composer. :(

One more time it happened again. Whenever ARR's album going to be released, 
there will be people saying or claiming that i've heard the songs n will give 
reviews even before the original album release. what is going on..who are these 
peoples? how they can heard the songs...? To make the matter worst these 
people will post reviews about the songs in our group and our group members 
will start to fight with that...remember these are what happened when 
Padaiyappa, Baba, SOK, Guru, RDB released. When ARR's compose songs like In 
Padaiyappa, Baba, RDB they will say its not up to usual ARR standard, the songs 
are not catchy, etc...etc. when SOK n Guru released they said some of the songs 
ARR shouldnt compose like Maja-maja in SOK n Jodi-jodi from Guru. N now same 
things are happening to Shivaji songs. "the Vaji Vaji song is catchy but a tad 
too simplistic with a predictable rhythm sequence." n etc..etc...Same thing 
will happen when ATM, Sakkarakati n other ARR's album released.
 Who are these people to critics ARR n his musics? I think we as a group

SHIVAJI,ITS ILLEGAL,ITS STEALING!! WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL RELEASE ON APRIL 4TH..

  In a recent interview in CNN-IBN, the anchor mentioned that Rahman’s sound 
track for the motion picture Dil Se was the best ever. Within that, the title 
track ‘Dil Se Re..’ is the most revered. I must concur. I don’t think Rahman 
has done such a track ever since. 
   
  Mixing Dil Se is a challenge. One can give any mood swing to it by layering 
looped grooves, however what becomes important is the ultimate feel. Either let 
it stay Celtic or get it ‘club ready’. I chose the later !. 
   
  I have tried several versions and I present you a version which relatively 
presentable ( I think..!) and I invite you to download the ‘ Dil Se Re – A

over the internet How did all these songs get out  Now what
happens to the audio CDs ?
By the looks of it, pirated Audio CDs will be out in the next one or 2
days...

Some of observations in the Sunlight song..
   
  The 38 sec clip is not a scratch version.. it is actually from the start of 
the song.. 
   
  There seems to be some change to the song that we can hear in the You Tube 
video. In  You tube video we can hear a male voice (Rahman?) saying .. "Super 
staar.." followed by "Oru koodai".. This is missing in the song.. but a lady 
voice sings "Super staaro" 
   
  The laughing sound doesn't appear to be Rajini's..
   
  Intresting humming used in the background

A big disappointment! I too got offered those 3 mp3 files!! I was 
shocked! previews OK...but complete songs FOR DOWNLOAD!!
This is really serious isue if someone can leak out the songs at this 
level. So much hard work...and now...
I heard a tiny news about arr is changing some of the leaked tracks a 
bitdont know whether this is true or notbut if so it would be 
great!! I hope he will find the guy who has leaked the songs.

Sivaji Audio is out before the Official release

The most expected movie of this year Sivaji staring Super star
Rajinikanth, audio tracks are released on net by the internet pirates.

Sivaji is produced by AVM Productions and directed by Shankar with the
Music by Asian Mozart A.R. Rahman. The Official audio release is
slated on April 4 and the movie is slated to be released on April 12.
Today ( March 22 ) Unofficial audio tracks of 3 songs namely Vaa Vaa
Sivaji, Sahara Saaral, Oru Kodai Sunlight are been released on net.
The information about the unofficial release of the audio tracks are
been sent to AVM Productions and they are sure to get down in action

I heard the songs (the preview tracks). Dont ask me where. That would 
lead to piracy.

1. Vaaji Vaaji - Hariharan, Madhushree

Music is completely awesome, true to Rahman's style. Only thing that 
irritates me is Madhushree's pronounciation. Horrible!!! But 
Hariharan is his usual self, and Madhushree also sings well 
(pronounciation only problem). After repeated listenings, this song 
will be a hit!

2. Sahara - Udit Narayanan

The best song! Superb! The melody is just so amazing to listen to. 
Another "Katril Oor Varthai"

3. Oru Koodal Sunlight

Cant bear this song. But just the first listen. So I expect this song 
to grow on us!

So far, a mixed bag on the three tracks. But I am waiting for the 
intro song. That single song will set the tone for a smashing success!

Inspections are on how it has leaked… But we are sure that it has come
out from the sets. All the songs are scratches… The final mixing is
nowhere near to these.

Esplly on the Sunlight song sung by Shaggy, Blaaze and Tanvi; what is
available on net is just a scratch piece for shooting. And Sahana song
is sung A.R himself on the final version with Chinmayi. We have one
more brilliant number called "Day light dude" which is the opening
song sung by Rappers from US.
We have a Song recorded with the voice of Rajinikanth Sir and Drums
kit played by Siva Sir which is interesting, in the movie. Please
don't post your opinions and underestimate the soundtrack now it now.
Its does enhance the visuals on screen quite brilliantly and wait for
the moment to catch it on 70 mm.

  Here is a short review of these songs
   
  1.Sivaji Vaji Vaji. Hariharan and Madhishree
   
  A melodious song starts with a chinese musical instrument played I   can 
say that this song doesn't has any english lyrics... But the singing style   of 
Hariharan is as usual. This song sounds a little bit like Ay   Hairathe... 
Another thing is, this songs beats r same through out the   track... Its a 
mixture of western and indian.. Not much review I can give coz   at my first 
hearing i dont llike this song very much... I dont know y i think   it needs 
more growing on me...
   
  2. Oru Koodai Sunlight  Adnan Sami and Blazee
   
  The song starts like a famous english number Who leave The Dogs Out.   
Not much instrument used in this song... I can say this was the song that   
rahman composed with his laptop... There r a lot of sound effect through out   
this song However there is also a female singer in this song but i cant   
guess who is this We can also hear Rajini's voice here and there... He   
laughs  hahaha...perhaps it could b famous but I dont really knowand   this 
could b the intro song perhaps
   
  3. Sahara Pookal Udit Narayanan, Shreeya Ghosal (Female singer nt   sure)
   
  Its a nice lovely ghazal song..This song sounds like a mixture of   Kaatril 
song from GF. There where sounds of Mirithigam through out this   song... This 
songs melody really catch me... Udit has done an amazing work...   There were 
voice of rahman singing dim tana tana something ... in this song...   You know 
this is my most favourite song among these three for now.. maybe the   others

This is upcoming Film Sivaji Songs...

1) Ore Oru Suriyan Pole - 4:48 (SPB, Blaaze) =   8/10 
This is the intro song for Rajni. The unique   instrumentation at  the 
beginning is very catchy. The mass + class will   enjoy this. The  kids voice 
in the saranam is very apt, the voice sounds   like the boy  from  Yeh Tara 
(but no credits though!) The final   punch is the 2 liner  from Super Star 
himself at the end with that drum   beats that we have  never  heard 
before!.Super Stars are back!   (ARR + Rajni) 

2) Un Vizhigalil -   5:30 (Unni Krishnan, Shreya   Goshal) = 9.5/10 
One of the most hummable tune of the year! The   tune instantly sticks to your 
mind. In fact the interlude is repeated softly   in Grahana  Tinggal song. The 
overlapping of Unni Krishnan and Shreya's   line was great and shows the best 
of ARR! 

3) Grahana Tinggal - 4:24 (Karthik) = 8.5/10   
A rustic, and sad song. Probably featured when Rajni's   character  is going 
through a rough patch. Karthik simply gave his best   in this song. The energy 
was evident in his voice, while the backing does what   it suppose to do, TO BE 
AT THE BACK!. The interlude is great,  as ARR   used the smae interlude from Un 
Vizhigalil (slower tempo) with added separate   tune played in Maestro's old 
pal, PAN FLUTE! 

4) Chor Chor - 5:49 (Tippu, Harini, Sujatha, Febi   & MSV) = 9.8/10 
This is a group event song I believe. All   the voices are  wonderful, perfect 
extraction from ARR. MSV's rustic   rendition of 2 liners every now and then 
are awesome. It just shows the depth   of imagination of ARR. This song will be 
played in all weddings, birthday and   major functions after this. Basically 
the song is lead by Tippu & Harini   with the others teases them throughout the 
song. It starts with  Hindi   Chor Chor and it stops with hindi there. 
Wonderful lyrics by Vaali!   

5) Instrumental of Grahana Tinggal   - 2:34 = 8/10 
The instrumental sounds really good, but this   time the backing that  took the 
back stage comes forward as a result, you   get heavy beats! 
The mandolin like sounds throughtout the song is really   haunting!  

6) Tittam ittupaar   - 4: 36 (ARR) = 10/10 
Whats a Rajni movie without motivational   song. You ask for it, and  you get 
the best from Maestro! 'Tittam   ittupaar, atthai vattam  ittupaar' has some 
good lyrics and it's really   sounds good and sticks to you. It is best 
comparable with Vazhkaiyil 1000   tadaikal from  Padayappa 

7) Theme Music - 2:12 
Awesome! the beat,   tempo, raaga(softly added only comes forward with good 
stereo sounds system   though!) and its couple of verses of 
Sanskrit! WOW WOW WOW!.   
Overal, the album is sure chartbuster! i would give it a 9/10 as analbum 
rating. Even when I am writing this review I have already heard   the songs 
being aired on OLI ( Singaporeradio!) 
ARR + RAJNI ARE BACK   WITH A BETTER BANG!

  In a recent
 interview in CNN-IBN, the anchor mentioned that Rahman’s sound track for the 
motion picture Dil Se was the best ever. Within that, the title track ‘Dil Se 
Re..’ is the most revered. I must concur. I don’t think Rahman has done such a 
track ever since. 
   
  Mixing Dil Se is a challenge. One can give any mood swing to it by layering 
looped grooves, however what becomes important is the ultimate feel. Either let 
it stay Celtic or get it ‘club ready’. I chose the later !. 
   
  I have tried several versions and I present you a version which relatively 
presentable ( I think..!)

According to 1 report, it seems Shanker has plans to have few songs
(maybe appearing in the audio) and scenes that will not be a part of 
the movie. They will be used for promotion of the audio-movie and give 
a different idea about the final output. Their intensions are to 
suprise the fans when the hear the actual audio and watch the actual 
movie. If my calculations are correct then I feel that these 3 tracks 
have been deliberately released by AVM & Co to make the fans April(4)
fools. If my calculations are wrong then it AVM & Co who are going to 
be April fools.

songs from one of ma friends room and i ws shoked n i asked abt how he gt it .. 
n he sed the 3 songs r out .. i ws really upset n i feel like cryin .. oh how 
many days our boss spend to make it n its out in a seconds.. im sure our boss 
will be sooo upset n i dont want to dissapoint ma boss as a true fan

have to create a music, not only once but do it consistently all over the years 
right from 1992(roja) to till date. No one needs to expalin how much he 
achieved over the years, and still being humble is really great. 
   
  So stop comparing with other music directors with ARR and let us be mature 
enough and discuss something realted to music. If our boss comes to know all 
these non sense he would really feel for this, afterall we are here to support 
him not to make him feel.
   
  I agree with Mr.Kumaran, i also request the moderators to look out for the 
rotten eggs which are spoiling the entire group.  

  Lets be united and share our music experience and above all enjoy our BOSS 
music.

The pirated version wud have come anyway..after the audio releases..

The best song! Superb! The melody is just so amazing to listen to.

3. Oru Koodal Sunlight

Cant bear this song. But just the first listen. So I expect this song 
to grow on us!

So far, a mixed bag on the three tracks. But I am waiting for the

The thing is, they generally try to release the audio a month before
the release of the film.  But the songs are accessible to so many
people on set and in post-production for a very long time before the
release of the film.  I'm sure the security in ARR's studio is tight,
but the same probably cannot be said for the people on the set of the
shooting.  It probably is not too hard for someone to hook up a DAT or
MiniDisc recorder to the machine playing the scratch tracks on set and
then release the tracks on the Internet, as evidenced by the last few
days.

Inspections are on how it has leaked… But we are sure that it has come
out from the sets. All the songs are scratches… The final mixing is
nowhere near to these.

Esplly on the Sunlight song sung by Shaggy, Blaaze and Tanvi; what is
available on net is just a scratch piece for shooting. And Sahana song
is sung A.R himself on the final version with Chinmayi. We have one
more brilliant number called "Day light dude" which is the opening
song sung by Rappers from US.
We have a Song recorded with the voice of Rajinikanth Sir and Drums
kit played by Siva Sir which is interesting, in the movie. Please
don't post our opinions and underestimate the soundtrack now it now.
Its does enhance the visuals on screen quite brilliantly and wait for
the moment to catch it on 70 mm.

Friends whoever listen to these just delete after a couple of listenings & buy 
the CDs for the superior quality sound. Do not worry as everyone will grab a 
original CD for its master sound quality to enjoy the best form of sound & a 
sure hit for both rahman fans & rajini fans. And there will be enhanced sounds 
in the official CDs undoubtedly.
   
  Anyway to share about the 3 hits ---

  Sahara Pookkal - 
  5.18 duration - 
  Udit Narayan - Chinmayee or Sujatha
   
  Nice. The beat reminds of Porkalam from Tenali as even in beginning the 
chorus gives very such similarity. Hey Rahman sings deem tananana. Wow ! Once 
again proves his talent with this song. lot of ideas of tune mixed up 
tactically shows his skill. Udit improved his tamil. Sounds like Chinmayee or 
Sujatha. In the end humming gives little bit of En Veettu Thottaththil hum. 
Such melodies are tailor made for Rajni's action & style and give me an 
imagination as his style of singing leaning back seeing the sky or while 
walking to put both hands in the over-coat downward pockets or putting his hand 
on the forehead to push back his falling hair with a gente swing.
   
  2.
  Vaaji Vaaji Vaaji En Jeevan Nee Sivaji - Poombaavai Aambal Aambal - 
  5.54 duration - 
  Hariharan - Madhushree
   
  Starts like a pacific tune (chinese or japanese) then goes to a qawwali beat 
- The beat reminds from a part of Maya Machindra from Indian movie that tabla 
sounds like qawwali. The same beat occupies entirely in this song. This song 
other way reminds Chittu Chittu Kuruviku Koodu Yetharku from Ullaththai Alli 
Tha the whole album which created waves in music in 1996 or so by MD - Sirpy. 
But here Arr's use of western harmony is great in the middle without the 
influence of tabla beat at that section. Here & there some male voice saying 
some jathis thiga thiga tha etc. All through the song the electic guitar's 
presence wonderful.
   
  3.
  Oru Koodai Sunlight - (Spanish Tamil Song ?)
  5.08 duration - 
  Rajini laughs twice mildly. Male voice ? - Female voice ??
   
  Rap, western beat targetting the youth. All about STYLE & HAIL. Another

better in the final version. ARR / Shankar will never go with Sivaji &
Sahara loops.
Is that shaggy who sung 'Oru Koodai'?. 2:42-2:43 confirms that.

  I don't know why these sorta things being spread around. This is a
bogus list and either the person has used his own imagination or
somebody else's imagination. 

I dont' find Udit narayan's song and neither do i find Hari haran's
song and i remember they both saying they sung a song for Sivaji. Also
I see AR Rahman's song being devotional here while he himself told
that its a romantic duet. Also We don't find the sunlight song which
was shot in Spain. 

Please don't post these kinda stupid mails which have complete track
list. Wait till the official release to get the real prize.
