In fact, to this day, I find some deeper meaning to the creativity in this song. As with any divinely inspired song, the first few notes and sounds captured my attention: it was synthetic, it was mystical, and it was vintage ARR! ARR is pioneer is projecting professional value of any instrument and
the instrumentalist as well.
Prior to ARR music was largely Dependant or produced with a large case
of orchestra and used to be more live more or less one shot go. IR was
the master for this technique. This is one category his long term
loyal fans claim his superiority. He too has done beautiful
composition using guitar and has performed many tracks for GK
Venkatesh his guru whilst the later was composing for Kannada songs.
The more popular melody of Idea Cell phone was originally a song in
Kannada for the movie Pallavi AnuPallavi has a great guitar melody was
an IR song. If somebody is interested pls mail me to my ID as I want
to keep non-ARR stuff to the minimal here.
I am more carried away for the usage of Cello Double Bass by our
GURU in the BGMs.
Also the usage of Mohana Veena was the first time ever the instrument
was used in a movie songs and BGM. Radha Kaise na Jale first interlude
was used to project the girl's state of mind using this instrument.
the same instrument is used to express the calmness in Snehidane song.
In alaipayuthey the first scene where shalini is having argument with
her mother on the breakfast has a BGM in Mohana Veena though a very
short piece and will only appear once in the entire movie will remain
in the mind for ever.

Little is been discussed or talked about this man K. Srinivas Murthy who had always been with our BOSS and has been conducting the strings section for ARR. KSM has been able to deliver the transcend for ARR's composition. I am not sure when did he associate with our BOSS my little memory recalls from KanduKondein KanduKondein. Does anybody here have more details about him? From his looks he appears to be very senior and has to be an expert in his domain.

From a musical point of view, can Rajesh add value and keep it contemporary? Let's face it the break should have given him plenty of time to re-invigorate his approach. Or will he be rusty after such a long break? Let's find out… Whilst nothing groundbreaking, Rajesh jee makes a decent start with the catchy title track *Krazzy 4* which has been widely aired on promotions and on listening to this entertainer you can see why…with groovy vibes and a wicked rhythm, the track is quite addictive! *Vishal Dadlani*'s harsh vocals are easily the highlight of this short but zany track. On a side note, it's interesting how Vishal is carving out a niche for these types of club tracks and on the evidence of this long may it continue, the brilliant composer come singer is multi talented! The lyrics by *Asif Ali Beg *are in keeping with the title i.e. plain krazzy! But that's not to its detriment at all and are in keeping with the theme of the movie. Having said all that this track lacks one thing but you can't put your finger on it, that is until you listen to the remix… Cue *Krazzy 4 Remix *by the remix king *DJ Aqeel *and what a difference he makes! Adding tempo is the key but to his credit, he jazzes things up generally (more bass anyone?) and it all results in a more enjoyable listen. This beats the original any day! You also find *Break Free *on the soundtrack but it's more or less a carbon copy of the title track albeit longer with more English verses. For added effects it's picturised on Shahrukh Khan who makes a special appearance for this song. I suppose it's an alternative of sorts but comes with a reserved recommendation due to a lack of change / innovation over the original. Just like the title remix, *Break Free Remix *by DJ Aqeel is so much more

A bass guitar is very low sounding on the octave. You have to pay attention many times to listen to is since it's usually well mixed in with the other tracks. Only in certain songs is the bass track outstanding in its relative volume level. something similar to it. I say this because using the Bass Guitar is
not unique to Rahman. Ilayaraja is considered as one of the Greatest

the songs that have his name are the songs where he has contributed a lot (70%?). in those songs, the melody is completely his and half of the orchestration is his (Nightingle's name is listed because he also contributed a lot in orchestrating ARRs melodies). thats the story of the 9 tracks. for the rest, you can still hear some ARR touch, altho minor, there is still some contribution. however, in the album details, ARR is given prime importance as he is the major contributor (his name is listed first, vartinna, and then nightangle). neways dont worry about who did what. just listen and you can feel ARR where his contributions greatly exceeds others (which are the 9 tracks).

Once there, he attracted a lot of female attention. A little reluctant
initially, Sagnik finally hit the dance floor. A self-confessed recluse,
Sagnik admitted to not partying a lot. After pack-up, I usually go home. I
don't have many friends so the question of a night out doesn't arise.
Compliment the actor on his envious physique, and he retorts cheekily after
a fiery photo shoot at Venom, It only earns me baddie roles here. And
while Mauja hi mauja is the song he'd like to shake a leg to, after seeing
him bust a few moves, we had to ask him if he would ever do an item number.
Why not? If SRK can do it, so can I, he said. My dream item number would
have music by AR Rahman. Shaan would do the vocal bit, while Bosco-Caesar
will teach me the moves, he grinned. Now if this dream really comes true,
the temperature's not going to dip for the next one year, for sure!

Hi All, Some decisions made by Rahman in the recent past regarding Singer selections have been debatable... 1. Nityashree singing Jack and Jill in Parasuram. I still wonder why she even accepted it. Is it because of Rahman?? 2. Janaki singing Enthan Nenjil in a movie. I forgot the name. It was acted by Manoj (Bharatiraja's son), but not Taj Mahal. Do you even remember it??? huh... 3. Sunitha Sarathi singing My wish comes true... from Kisna. It wasn't very proper choice... even for the situation in the movie. No probs with Vasundara Das for Lagaan though! The rendition for Warriors in peace... from WOHE was slightly better, i feel. Just some minor irritations in the otherwise perfect list I guess... Please share your opinions. Thanks. Chandra.

Exactly Chord. These days I feel Rahman is truly crossing the language barrier. I can't really put it down in technical terms as you. The emotions that I experience when listening to Rahman's music is definitely richer. There is an certain abstraction that Rahman reaches with his music. . I call it as the realm of unknown. . which evokes a very subtle feeling each time I listen to (like Tere Bina, Tu bin Bataye, Man Mohana and Sundari, an underrated song and many more). I used to feel it with albums like Dilse, Alaipauthey, Meenaxi. Its a pity that such albums are becoming rare in Tamil. Only directors who provide Rahman such scope remain Maniratnam and Rajeev Menon and Kadir to some extent (almost all his movies have a sad ending) . Hope Rahman works with Selvaragavan (of 7G, Kadal Kondein). This is has been discussed already here and soon might work out also(??) Its my gut feeling that there is something waiting to explode within Rahman. . . He is cutting down on the movie assignments. . Spending good time on projects close to his heart. . Never-before-in-history marketing by Rahman of KM music conservatory. Rahman always lets his music speak. But now he is speaking .. So there is something really awesome and big that I expect will come out of this. . a symphony fusing Indian and Western orchestra. . And live symphonies in India!! Even imagining 300 musicians performing live on Rahman's notes gives goosebumps to me .. . Dude ! i feel Arr himself was uncomfortable in long hair. It must be because of some contract rules, sponsors etc. etc. But that does not need for him when his music speaks substance with style. To me he looks good in short hair. Personally i feel grooming is important to make one feel more confident but that should not take them to the level of discomfort, while at work or concert, be it for clothes or make-ups. The discomfort level might prevent them from giving their best. Ask yourself this question: Do you really realize the true depth of ARR's talents? No matter how long I've known ARR's music or praised him in my own mind, many times, I just can't get my head around how in the name of God is he able to compose within so many genres of music! It's one thing if a composer is dominant within his regional or cultural sphere, but to create supreme music that emcompasses so many world styles, genres, etc. is just beyond mind blowing. Just today, I listened to a Hindu Bhajan, a trance song, a Sufi Qawali, an Arabic track, Chinese music, Western classical symphony, Tamil folk, Rock, Jazz, Reggae. All one composer...ARR. There is no way on earth that a mere mortal can do this WITHOUT divine influence. Rahman is living in two worlds.one with us, and one with the almighty. And we are simply blessed that he can transport music so divinely influenced and send it to our longing hearts and souls. There are many amazing things about this world, its people. Most often, I can grapple amazing feats due to mind over matter, hard work, determination, etc. But, I just simply cannot imagine that sheer volume of talent ARR possesses in being able to simply command such wide range of music with such prowess and elan. Just think about it. We know how amazing ARR is, but do we REALLY understand the depth and enormity of his talent? I don't think we or anyone else does, neither does ARR himself. Wish more of the world could appreciate what I'm trying to describe here. There have been many composers who have come and gone who have been simply genius and amazing within their sphere of music, but NONENOBODY EVER has commanded as wide of a range of music as ARR. In my books, he is simply one of if not THE MOST broadly talented composer the earth has ever witnessed, only not yet realized or appreciated by all. Simple praise just cannot do justice to his talent.

I was playing Tenali CD and casually looked at the inlay card for the credits. The Movie is produced by SPBalasubranyam. Interesting thing is that of 6 songs, SPB sung 4 of them and rest are by SPCharan, SPB's son. Female lead is by SPSailaja, SPB's sister. There is another girl called Pallavi, SPB's daughter. Ofcourse KSChitra and few other singers chipped in but it is interesting to see ARR doing this for one album. What might be the reason, is it to contain the budget by working within the family or what? Yeah..This has been my claim. Just comparing him to Mozart and Beethoven to me is pointless. I am not aware of a single musician who is versatile in so many different genres and top notch at most of them. His capacity to learn is infinite. I don't want to start another debate here, but I can't this keep humble opinion of mine unsaid - Rahman is way ahead of any other musician India has ever produced when comes to versatility. I am expecting a pure classical album using only Indian classical instruments, which would answer the critics about his ability to create music without computers. Pavan, ARR was uncomfortable with his long hairs? I don't think so. Then he wouldn't have grown it in the first place. And Sponsors have nothing to to with his hair. He is not endorsing any hair care products. When asked in an Interview about his new looks, he said he had shaved when he had been to Mecca and later his wife liked the cropped hair (fortunately or unfortunately) and so he is continuing. Madhushree and Udit Narayan in any Tamil song. Terrible pronunciation. Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal have been good in Tamil. Hariharan- Vaaji Vaaji (Sivaji). Never thought his voice was right for this song. Hariharan- Aalala Kanda (Sangamam). IMO this song needed someone earthier, maybe SP Balasubramaniam. Chitra- Rang De Basanti. The concert is part of Rajasthan Day Celebrations which go on for a week from 24th March to 30th March 2008. There are a series of functions planned. and every evening at 8 PM, there is a musical show . 25th March 2008 - There is a Dance Ballet by Hema Malini at 8 Pm in Amrudoo Ka Bagh 26th - Sunidhi Chouhan 8PM 27th - Rahet Fateh Ali Khan - 8 Pm *28th - ARR 's Musical Evening - 8 PM * 29th - Shreya Ghosal and Kunal Ganjawala - Musical Evening 8 Pm So. Let's find out… Whilst nothing groundbreaking, Rajesh jee makes a decent start with the catchy title track *Krazzy 4* which has been widely aired on promotions and on listening to this entertainer you can see why…with groovy vibes and a wicked rhythm, the track is quite addictive! *Vishal Dadlani*'s harsh vocals are easily the highlight of this short but zany track. On a side note, it's interesting how Vishal is carving out a niche for these types of club tracks and on the evidence of this long may it continue, the brilliant composer come singer is multi talented! The lyrics by *Asif Ali Beg *are in keeping with the title i.e. plain krazzy! But that's not to its detriment at all and are in keeping with the theme of the movie. Having said all that this track lacks one

Dude ganesh n ! just join the preparatory course in ARR school which is open
to all ages, will help you to appreciate music indepth. Or there are music
professionals here. Mail your clarifications they will refer to the songs
timings for the words you need to know. Once you are used to such things from
different songs after repeated listenings, you can help others.

Dude Nagaraj ! few days back, i read an interesting thought of words from a
real estate advt as told by a 13th century saint. It says, Do what is
necessary. In that, do what is possible. Suddenly you will find yourself doing
the impossible. Arr is the case of impossible thing that he excelled to skies.
Including IR sir, those who all gave chance to ARR in his initial stages must
be thanked at this point. Arr certainly worked with a good task master, maestro
Ilayaraja. You need to be motivated to reach heights. IR other such directors
have been a cause of motivation for ARR.
From there ARR sharpened moulded his creativity. Without the basics main
curriculum you cannot jump to creative point. These video links related to
guitars for those who think IR otherwise. Lot more there on these lines. When
we prepare our Resume, we do not ignore our previous employers include them
as our experience. We are grateful to previous employers for giving an
opportunity howsoever we differ with them. While we were struggling for an
opening, we got that job. I could say we would definitely gained more
confidence in work in initial stages which makes to move to next offer so on
to do our own business successfully.

Dude ! i know Arr's wife as one of reasons. But before that i remember his Sun TV interview during his first VM release, Arr shared the info, how Sony asked him to change his looks to have long hair some more changes which he refused and agreed to go only with long hair.
