Hi all,Abt sounds relating to phones, there is one peculiar sound that he has used...There is this sound of interference of a mobile phone's signal in any neighbouring equipment with a speaker for example, a stereo system. ARR has used this sound in the title track of "Warriors of Heaven n Earth" during the first few lines of the song in a prolonged manner. The song is by ARR only, originally made for the Tamil version (Ottagatha Kattiko.. from the movie 'Gentleman'). But, Anu Malik did the music for it in Hindi. Apart from using most of ARR's songs, he made a couple of new songs for the movie. Thats why u find his names in the credits.But there is something which most of the ppl here in this group dont know. The first few lines of this song are lifted from a song sung by Malgudi Shubha in the Telugu Pop album titled, Chik Puk Chik Bum, with music by popular Telugu music-director duo, Raj-Koti. ARR had apparently worked as a key-board player for this album. Obviously, ARR made a song much better than its original with a lot of improvisations. Like you, I m equally amazed about the fact that the great man had to make so many sacrifices and he still continues to do so! Hi all,I agree that YSR has a style of his own. But the amount of lifts he has made seems to be endless. Yes, its agreed that he does nt copy outright like how someone like Deva does. But come on guys... one or two can be inspired, not so many!! One friend posted about a track which he lifted for Pudhupettai from www.raaga.com ads before songs. I agree with it. Its a complete lift! I dont think if he even played it again!!Also, I urge all of u to listen to "Maiden's Prayer" by a multi-instrumental talent called "Lisa Lynne". Guys... u wont believe until u listen to it that how much YSR copies. The instrumental part of "Kadhal mattum purivadhilai" (Kadhal Kondain), the Theme of 7/G Rainbow Colony, n numerous bgms from Kadhal Kondain (especially the haunting one when Dhanush leaves his hostel)... all can be heard in this Album by "Lisa Lynne". Thats unbelievable how so many tracks of a single artist itself can inspire YSR!! Its needless to say that he is way ahead of the ever-repetitive Harris in terms of making Music. But whatever it is, please dont compare him with ARR. For god's sake...
