Dear All, Today in Rahmania programme Mr Pyarilal was being given the honour of talking over the fm radio. I understand he is starting a new website www.ilovearrahman.com I just saw the page and it says it is under constructuion. If any one has recorded this programme can they upload, may be in rapidsharte or esnips and give me a link if you have. My recorder did not work today and so could not do it. Dear All, I joined this group when i just got the info thru a friend of mine that there is a group exclusively formed by ARR fans. I did post few messages of my son particularly ones to invite people for his public concerts on carnatic. H/ever when few took the issue of this being ARR forum, I sincerely appreciated and stopped those messages except sharing my son's experience to do with any thing with regard to ARR. i.e. going to his studios, meeting him, listening to his music etc. It is my view, which is also the reason for starting this grp i suppose, that this group is for topics related to ARR and ARR only. If not for the big name of ARR i would not have joined this group and so should be many fans. I just saw the account and membership is over 12000. I think every one has the right to convey their view opinion and yes in this forum i also feel it should be done only on ARR or anything related to ARR. I am sure every one will appreciate this view. It is a fact that not many music directors have great forums like this with 12000 + dedicated members and i think if one has to discuss music in general, then person / member can start a group for that and may be request all the members to join in it who are interested in general music or music directors. I am sure every one would appreciate the fact this group is for ARR and related to ARR and let us i fell, strict to that instead of sharing news / subjects not related to ARR. I just thought of giving my opinion and it is not to hurt any one in the forum. [arr] I met Rahman uncle again on 10th Jul'07
Dear All, I had the great oppurtunity to meet Rahman uncle once again on the 10th Jul'07 in Chennai./ He had come to bless my western guru Sri Sadha's son on his wedding reception. I had the oppurtunity to perform a concert that day. I did take photos with ARR uncle and was very happy. However ARR uncle came in to the hall as we were packing the board and so did not get the great oppurtunity of him seeing me play live. Any way many great things happened in my life after i met him and took photo in Narada Gana Sabha and like that i am sure i have got myself charged up to get best things to come. [arr] Sivaji Rerecording
This is kKrishnababu f/o 12 year old KeyboardSathya. We just swa the movie Sivaji and ARR has done a great job of giving one of his best for this movie. Well there is a thought of Re- recording not being upto the mark and i sincerely feel for this all the three majors i.e. Sankar - Director, AVM - Producers Rajini - the Hero is to be blamed. I think they thought all these three names (It is also clear in the line up to the hype created, due credits have not been given to ARR) will just win over every one's mind but i think they have miscalculated the effect of re-recording in a movie which goes a long way for the success of a movie. Having ARR with them and not utilizing him properly in the re-recording is indeed the most sad part of the movie. I am sure Rajini's daughter will learn a lesson from this and use ARR to his best not only for scoring music for songs but also throughout the movie effectively for the success of SULTAN In fact Sathya also felt very much on this issue. The song sequences have been done very well and if the movie is not running this reason of Re-recording will be one of the major points. I do not blame ARR fully because as the core team the big 3 should have applied their mind. The above is just my opinion and is no way to hurt any one. Rgds KB

Dear All, I am Krishnababu, Sathya's father and we sincerely thank every one of you who had taken time to listen and send your wishes comments on Sathya's effort in performing a track of Sri AR Rehman. We are overwhelmed on this response with the Phone calls and email wishes and yes Sathya will be presenting few more numbers performed with his keyboard. I shall upload same and give links to this great forum. Sathya also performed this song live on stage yesterday in a private concert with Sridhar on drums, Suri on Bass guitar Arjun Ganesh on Mrudhangam. The audience were thrilled on same as probably it was the first time hey were listening to this song or seeing it played live. Thanks to ARR for this great composition. I am also pleased to inform that Sathya is to perform a Carnatic on Keyboard Concert in DOHA at Indian Cultural Centre, Doha on the 20th April evening at 6pm. If any one of you are DOHA pls try and attend this concert and bless him. After i met ARR uncle on the 10th at teh Carnatic Chills album release function things have been working great for me.Yes I think last week was one of my best week as I received the Aasthana Vidwan status from Sri Kalahasthi Temple on the 12th Feb'07 then on the 15th Feb'07 had a great opportunity to perform in front of the Army personnel and their families for the 96th Anniversary day of The Signallers of Indian Army and followed it up with the award Beethoven Re-incarnated Award from Rotasia on the 16th Feb'07. I am sure all this is due to the grace of god and also coinciding with dharshan of ARR uncel and all your wishes.
