Thanks man! your translation dates back to august 2007 but I succeeded only
recently in getting the greatest hits mp3 collection which contains Shauk
Hai and Qadir's Tere Bina..
Shauk Hai isn't just a cool westernstyle ballad, but it has a nce
meaning tooo.. somehow ARR succeeds in composing music which often reflect
the feelings of words perfectly!

  Since it is so very difficult to translate poetry without letting go the 
feel, it's all the more commendable.

It's really annoying that the full song is not available outside India. 
Can someone post a description of the whole song please for those of us 
who are unable to buy the CD. it's really annoying. I loved it in the

this is too good of a song to be true 

As Gops said yep...it certainly has to be amongst the best ever 
by rahman (though u really can't classify or rate the magic in each 
of his songs)

and its at moments like this that my beliefs are re-affirmed yet 
again (the belief that Rahman really is a messiah who has blessed 
this earth and us - though I have never been in doubt about it :-)) 
and I feel blessed to be able to hear and appreciate 
music ..specifically this man's music :-)

it plays fine.. bt as u said.. the recording is very bad!! after all..  wat 
more can u expect by recording in a theatre.. n that too from a  celfone. 
Moreover... cudnt hear the lyrics properly because of the  dialogues.. bt im 
sure it must b gud... its rahman's creation after  all...

  thanks for the bgm song. sounds nice. amr file also plays well in real player 
10 after seeking 3gpp plug-in to download & install automatically. but 
dialogues affect the song bit as we have to give our ears deep into it to 
listen to the tune. lasts for 1 mt. 35 sec. i feel they will not add this to 
later edition of cds as it is quite small. or if they add the new instrumental 
theme, then they may consider this too to call it as special edition.
