   There is one more instance where arr proves that there is no one 
else to use instruments.this is from oru dheivam thantha poove from kannathil 
muthamiital sung by chinmayi(not the male version).if u carefully notice u will 
be able to hear the sound of the bass guitar fron 5.10-5.17.That's simply

Hello there, im glad to find u love the Tamil version more. I  
actually feel Uyire is always a better album than Dil Se. I heard  
that Poongatrile (Eh Ajnabi) was composed in Tamil first. I think  
even the Sandhosha Kaneere was composed in Tamil fist. Not sure on  
the latter, but former was confirmed by Gulzar .(He was too  
asthonished by Vairamuthu's lyrics and he was having a doubt if he  
could even match with the lyrics of Vairamuthu in that song).


Nenjinile had a better ending than its Hindi version (Lata  
Mangeshkar was said to just keep on going with her rendition in her  
own style and ARR ended it with his touch). But the Tamil version,  
where S.Janaki sang, it had a more complete and fulfilling ending  
thanks to Janaki ma's awesome way of ending the song. Do give it a  
try. U will love it more.

as per my assumption, arrs first original music watever the language will be 
amazing since the music will be adjusted little bit with the lyrics. but the 
reused or dubbed version would have the lyrics which would not fit very 
properly in the music.thats wat it would be little bit odd.
 
we can find this from rangeela, taal,jodha akbar,doli sajike rahna, gentleman, 
muthu etc in their respective language.
 
manirathnams films are total exceptions since he would concentrate very much 
even in dubbed versions.so guru, yava, saathiya has its own mark.other than 
that, swadesh had a very good lyrics even in dubbed tamil version.

some remixed versions of his own songs in hindi like pukar-key sara & swadesh- 
deko na
are really good comparing to its original versions.even the originals have a 
great music, while hearing the remixes we can get totally new experiance.

Uyire will never match Dil Se. Its your lack of understanding of Urdu poetry 
and/or probably how well the urdu poetry has been matched perfectly with the 
music. Ask some urdu guys or quality music lovers, and they will tell you what 
an album Dil Se was and will always be.

and/or probably how well the urdu poetry has been matched perfectly with the
music. Ask some urdu guys or quality music lovers, and they will tell you
what an album Dil Se was and will always be.

I used to keep telling my sis those days about these hidden sounds and used to 
make her listen to them, and she would stare back at me with an expression 
"ummm hmmm.. well...really. .? is there a sound like that coming there?" - :)

I am not able to recall most of them all of a sudden. However, I am mentioning 
the ones on top of my mind & have attached clippings for easy hearing 

PS: Some that I have observed, may be already observed by others. So this is 
not a "I know it already" competition. . Please post your findings .. am sure 
this will build itself to a pretty good repository)

1) Minsarakanavu : Thanga Thamarai (location in the song - 2nd stanza) - 
  "parakkum vandukal poovil koodum kaarkaalam..
   kanaikkum thavalai thunayai cherum karkaalam.."
The place where the word thavali ends and thunayi begins.. there is a hi-freq 
sound (sounds like a key being winded - this is max i could come close to 
describing it). This was audible in the cassette versions too .. so this cant 
be a fault with my MP3 file... 

I have attached the clipping, and have enhanced the hi-freq for that portion. 
(00:09 - 00:10 in the attached clipping)


2) En swasa kaatre : Theendai (1st interlude - Male chorus ends the 1st 
interlude singing "Theendai Mey Theendai..." , and Chithra starts off 
"viralodum theendal undu..." )

The male chorus continues singing their portion twice after Chithra starts

2. between 2:05 and 2:08 - another violin piece.
3. between 2:54 and 2:58 - high pitched violin.

Yep ..the magic of ARR. Had noticed it probably when I heard Dil Se on my
walkman for the first time...thats something that even though sends a chill
down my spine (in a nice way).
Similarly in Tehzeeb - Meherbaan Meherbaan ..there is a particular note that
starts around 4:24 and then separates out and then merges back at around
4:36 and then plays alongside pure magic :-) Heard that?

Its little things like this that make our man so unique ...so damn unique
...
