Re: mid tier error (ARERR 329)
Hello, Still I am facing this issue. The issue is whenever I tried to modify help desk form on mid tier, I get following error: Invalid password or authentication string for an existing user ARERR 329 We are using preference server. I mean we have configured preference server on config page of mid tier. Should I change to patch 24? Whether it will solve my issue? Hello, I am sorry ,I may be asking wrong question. As you said that user cache is messed up ,then how I am able to modify people record for myself as well as record in others form on web client. This error is coming only when I try to modify help desk form. Re: mid tier error (ARERR 329)
If the User Cache is messed up you can use the arreload utility to rebuild the user_cache file (instructions are on pg 319 of the Configuring manual for 6.3). arreload -a <"adminUser"> {-u|-g} <"schema"> [-f] [-p <"adminPassword">] [-s <"server_name">] [-h <"Server-Name_value">][-d] Basically: arreload -u "User" -a "Admin" -p "password" -f Note: If you have a "Max Entries Returned by GetList" value set in the server configuration, make sure to set it to 0 before running the utility.
