@simba - definitely at this point, the combat system is inaccessible and cannot be used with VO.  This is a WIP project to get the game running VO, so right now we're focusing on the navigation elements.  We'll have to tackle combat soon, I know.

Speaking of Leasey, here is more info about it, including a "CD" that was recently made:hartgen.org/leaseyAlso, for some, "Leasey Advanced" will probably be the better by, as its $100, unlike Leasey Basic and Advanced together, which is $150. Yes, it gives UK prices, but in North America, prices should be similar. And unlike Guide, you do not need to stay within the boundaries of Leasey either. So will it take off? Considering more and more programs are being added to leasey regularly for compatibility, Who knows! where Brian and Lulu will take this journey they now have together.

Bear in mind that Big Finish can only do what the BBC permits in their license, and that from a legal standpoint classic who and new who are two different properties. I've no idea why they worked it like that but that's how they did it.As another example of strangeness some Lord of the Rings merchandise is licensed specifically from the movies so they're only allowed to create things that exist in the movies and not things which exist in the books and were either cut from the movies or are in books not adapted into movies. For example Games Workshop's Lord of the Rings miniatures have been released in such a way as to not release a miniature for an individual or creature which has not appeared in a released movie, and their miniatures may only be based on the way these people or creatures appear in the movies regardless of how the books describe them.

Re: I like the girl three desks backwards but I need advice

I'd strongly suggest you limit your revelation of names in order to protect them from internet searches and such. That said how you handle the other girl is down to you. Do you want to ask the other girl about dating first? If the first girl turns you down I'd wait a little while before you'd consider dating the second girl, it may offend both of them if they found out the moment the first turned you down you started dating the second. If the second girl's putting you on the spot like that and you're not interested just say I really like you and you're a great girl but I'd rather just be friends. If you would be interested but want to see how it goes with the first girl instead just adapt that, you're a great girl and I really like you but I'm crushing really hard on someone else at the moment and it wouldn't be fair on either of us to look for more right now.

Re: How do screen readers work when there's a console and a normal window?

Just to make it clear, by "default settings" I mean whatever are the current system settings, so e.g. if the user sets the speed to 800 WPM then that'd be the default setting for the program. Also I managed to find the SAPI header files for MinGW-w64. No libraries, although I think that it just uses the OLE libraries and I already have those, so I believe I'm already set. I'm going to see if by tomorrow I can have something working. As long as the program works on Windows XP (the current system requirement) I should be fine, I can make the DLL a requirement for the SAPI-based screen reader.camlorn wrote:Speed and naturalness are inversely proportional.  Start cranking up a "natural" synth and it starts sounding drunk before topping out well below the capabilities of many blind people.  I have yet to have anyone anywhere show me a synth that sounds remotely humanlike and have it

As long as the base synth sounds natural it should be fine in my opinion. And yeah, huge speeds are not really human-like, but I bet that if we could speak that quickly we may sound like that (although I don't know if current methods introduce issues at those speeds, maybe pure synthesis has a chance to fare better than pre-recorded formants at those speeds). The problem is when it can't sound natural no matter what settings you use, which is the problem with low-quality speech synthesis. The Axel synth linked earlier seemed pretty good to me, for instance (I wish espeak was even remotely close to that).

Re: How do screen readers work when there's a console and a normal window?

Espeak defaults are lame.  If you change it a bit it's much better, at least for a blind person.  The periods and all that aren't being ignored, it's just that the inflection/procity/whatever is too low.  Most screen readers take some additional steps before passing along to the Synth, so typing into the espeak command line is also not conveying it--NVDA for one has huge dictionaries in addition to the ones built in to the synth that have to do with how to (or not to) say punctuation based on user preference.  NVDA also has tweaked voices, which I'd kill to see on Linux.  Default settings for literally all the screen readers I can think of suck for everyone; it's more a matter of not sucking just enough to let the user tweak themAs for Sapi and MinGW-64, well, there's reasons I'm not using MinGW in general and missing hugely big chunks of the windows API is part of it.  I'm not really sure if this specific
one is there, but would not at all be surprised if it is not.  Most screen readers do not use SAPI directly, and it's not safe to assume that the DLL exists if a scree reader does.  Few of us use SAPI with our screen readers.  I believe that anything post XP just has it, however--Narrator uses it and is built in to all windows systems, so you're probably okay for that reason alone.  I doubt you're targeting 95/98.Finally, before I tackle this general issue a little more, don't touch speech settings.  Leave them alone.  It's an interesting idea to give each character their own voice, and I'd love to see the ability to also feed synths through 3D audio, but it just doesn't work.  I'm much less fanatical on this issue than most.  I was capable of converting from the religion of Eloquence to the cult of Espeak.  But bringing me down to slowness land would still be excruciating.  I also don&#
039;t see how you'll ever make that cross platform. And my remark on the general issue:Speed and naturalness are inversely proportional.  Start cranking up a "natural" synth and it starts sounding drunk before topping out well below the capabilities of many blind people.  I have yet to have anyone anywhere show me a synth that sounds remotely humanlike and have it continue to do so post-200 words a minute.  Yeah, rate is a setting, but the maximum value for rate is a feature and you're normally only specifying things in arbitrary rate units that don't link well to reality from your app.  That's why we still use formant synthesis and why, when Eloquence inevitably dies, we'll all probably end up moving to Espeak.  Move the rate maximum higher, and all the other parts of your definition of naturalness go out the window, even at slow speeds.  It's not about having speed be part of your definition, it
's that having speed costs on every other part of the definition. The naturalness Vs. productivity is an interesting debate.  I, for one, am proud of my ability to basically be as fast as my sighted peers, though my insane rates weren't maintainable long-term: I needed complete relaxation and also a surplus of energy to do it.  I could see the sacrifice being made for some blind people, but not professional programmers--time to review the 800 lines of code in 5 minutes.  And yes, many of us vary the speeds based on the task at hand.  Reading laTeX, for example, means a big, big cut.

OK, before we all keep arguing here: should I just drop messing with voice settings altogether (i.e. go with the defaults always)? I mean, it feels weird having a female character speak with a male voice, but should I just leave it at that or what? Also, does anybody know how to use SAPI with MinGW-w64? (I don't care about vanilla MinGW) Because it turns out that apparently I don't have the relevant files, although looking around it does seem like there's an implementation of SAPI for MinGW-w64 (not to mention Qt apparently having it as well, QtCreator using MinGW). I think the problem is that it was only added recently to MinGW-w64 (so it's not in the Ubuntu repo yet) and I'm trying to figure out where are the relevant files to install them.Sebby wrote:You're trying to judge the quality of a TTS synthesiser by how "Natural" it sounds precisely illustrates the problem; accu

Re: a proposal, jaws lite shareware by freedom scientific

Hi.As for getting a job. I'm happy to be one of those that sits around not looking for a job. I've been to college for four years, each year was bad apart from 1 I.T year. I've tried to make friends with sighted people in colleges but all they do is ignore me, or pretend to be your friend then go back to there own people and ignore you. I've tried and tried again. I've tried looking for jobs but got fed up and board. So do I sit around and get money from the government? Yes. Am i happy? yes. IS that the most important thing to me? Yes.I also know blind people with jobs and they are happy doing what they're doing.Me, personally, I'm going to try my hand at a pottery class for a term, then try my hand at learning the saxophone. I feel that if I give to others and to myself, then I'm happy. Yes there may come a day when I "have to" get a job because of cuts and things like that. And when that day comes I'll be
ready with my skills. Oh I don't have a CV yet, but well if you can show them you can do a sertan thing then if that day came, i doubt it would matter that much if you had the skills on paper or not. Plus you could always go back to college for a year to relearn, or put it down on paper that you know a sertan thing. Although I don't know if that would be possible. So what I'm saying is this, when it comes it comes and I'll be ready. On another topic related to JAWS, have anyone herd of this leci thing? I personally think it's a lode of rubbish. My reasons: 1. If you're new to computers you'll expect laci menus everywhere, when that simply isn't the case.2. The "amazing" features are everyday features and I hate it when a company does that. Oh you can copy and paste, move files with eaz, write letters, write emails all in one easy to use program! Yeah but, I can do that already.3. You have to pay for it. Once
you've payed for this new computer thing, you have to pay for another thing that might help you understand this computer? Man, i hope people don't by into this.Oh sure, It's cheapish, but that's not the point.the only good thing about the program, in my opinion is the voice. Make that a simth voice and i might by it.

Re: I like the girl three desks backwards but I need advice

I can totally agree with CX2's advice. Take it slow and be open with her, tell her what you like about her and don't jump to a conclusion. Ask her if she would like to be more than just friends. That's all the further you have to go, otherwise you'll be coming on too fast. If she says no, just try to let it go, at least she was honest with you and honesty is the best thing you can ask for in any relationship. If she feels uncertain, let her know that you want her to be honest and not tell you what she thinks you want to hear. Definitely don't just come out and say "I love you," that's jumping to conclusions which I doubt either of you are prepared to make. Jumping to a conclusion like that will turn her off or may scare her out of a possible relationship. You shouldn't really be saying I love you until you've been in a really serious relationship and know almost everything there is to know about the other person. Just take it one s
tep at a time. Here are a few tips I've found for myself in my own relationships, take them however you like.Let's say you're beginning to get uncomfortable with something. Stepping out of your comfort zone isn't always a bad thing, but you know your limit. Don't try something you know will give you a complete panic attack until you know you are ready to handle the nerves. If it's a really huge deal and you can't seem to get past it, let her know... don't pretend otherwise. Don't hide anything as it will only lead to mistrust and extra stress. Even healthy relationships can be very stressful, you don't need any unnecessary stress put on it. I had the opposite experience as you did, Terminator. When I met my girlfriend, I was 18 and she was 16. God did I have a crush on her, and I know now that she felt the same toward me. She tried to hint at me, as did I, that we had a crush on each other, but neither of us wanted t
o openly admit it of course. We just simply drew to each other like magnets but didn't want to admit to the other that it was happening. We took it really slow after that, partly because we only see each other 3 or 4 times a year. That does slow things down. There are times I do miss her and have, well, fantasies. But that's for another topic entirely. Though it's not completely irrelevant, as fantasy about an attractive mate is very common at a young age, so long as it's not inappropriate or disturbing fantasies that could get you into serious trouble should you act on them. Nor should they completely take over your concentration when something vitally important is at hand, like passing on a final exam, for example.

Re: A really good Dr. who related Youtube series

I haven't watched all Doctor Who episodes of the new series. While I can understand that a fresh start with the ninth doctor might have been a good move since the Show was originally canceled years ago and all that. But what I didn't get was why lots of things were never answered inside the Show.I mean if we looked only at the ninth and tenth doctor eras and we believed that the doctor ended the time war and only the Doctor and the Master got out somehow, then I would have liked to see a Story which could have told us if and how Leela might have seen the war and if she lived after it or not. Then when the first new cybermen Story with the alternate earth came and the doctor stated that travel between realities was impossible, then I knew one question no one bothered to answer.Theoretically one "universe" should still be accessible: E-Space.What I also don't get is why now one is properly talking about the time war and why no media is showing it be that´books, Audio Dramas or movies or regular episodes.I didn't get the entire silence Thing. How were they supposed to know that the War Doctor didn't destroy the time Lords when he himself had forgotten and no other race, not even that one Dalek who broke the time lock first could see beyond the apparent destruction? And what the hell was the purpose of the sige of that planet where the leventh Doctor should have died? How did all races suddenly know that the time Lords were knocking at the door of the universe and why the hell did they think to prevent their return at all cost if supposedly their existence was deleted from all minds? If so, no one could have remembered that it was dangerous to bring the time Lords back. This however doesn't take into account if the time Lords if brought back, were still the Monsters seen in "end of time" or if they were reformed after years outside the universe...What do you think of all this and do you think the Dalek/Eminence plot of the Dark Eyes series are some Kind of quasi-Prequels to the time war?Is the Dalek time controler Aware of the war yet to come (from the Eighth Doctor stories Point of view)? And does anyone have any idea why Big Finish is still not allowed to go into the new series era?I mean apart from the main TV Show we only have the New Series Adventures books, but as far as I know, they are stand alone stories not like the Eighth Doctor or the Seventh Doctor books. And since there are only the new Series audiobook and the Audio exclusive stories, I don't get why Big Finish or anyone else can't be allowed to go further than the eighth Doctor. Moreover, Gallifrey series 6 implies that Narvin ordered the things seen in "Genesis of the Daleks" to which the Daleks might respond with the first shoots of the time war being fired...I hate this "hinting and teasing".Why can't there be definite answers. And finally, isn't the entire current series 8 a bit strange?I mean, if the Doctor did preserve the time Lords, shouldn't the plot of the season have been him searching for them? And even if he found a female master, how did she get into the Primary universe? The master was last seen in end of time, right?

First even though you say you know what love is I really wouldn't call it being in love. You no doubt have a lot of affection for her and may even love her but you're probably not in love with her.Even if you were in love starting with that would be a bit extreme and likely to cause a shock reaction from how sudden it is. I'd probably start out when you're together but there's no time pressure or risk of interruption and it's all casual, then tell her you've spent some time together with her and briefly tell her one or two things you like about her personality and stress there's no pressure but you find yourself attracted to her and you'd very much like to be more than friends and date her. Just take it carefully and slowly, saying you love her is really jumping in with both feet.None of this is a criticism, it's perfectly easy for even adults to mistake love for being in love and I've done this myself while arou
nd ten years older than you are now. One kind of love also doesn't preclude the other, in fact loving her as a friend is a perfectly sound basis for a relationship so long as you both feel a mutual attraction. There's also no way to necessarily know if she feels the same without telling her. There may be hints but when you feel like that I know you often don't know if they're real or if you're just exaggerating them in your mind from wanting them to be true, equally there may be hints you're missing. Throw in the fact that if she does feel the same way she may be bottling it up from the same fear of rejection as you. All I can say is if she's a real friend and you don't pressure her or suddenly shock her by professing your undying love chances are even if she does turn you down she won't tear your nuts off while she does it.

I like the girl three desks backwards but I need advice

first, lets clarify something. I'm fifteen, and I know what love is, emotions and such things so it'd wouldn't be a problemso I like the girl four desks backwards. Her name's Michelle Changoluisa, a last name pretty ecuadorian.we're good friends. We chat, we talk, and well we sometimes are fisically close one to the other.I just wanna question, how should I know it's the adequate moment to say her I love her, because I feel the same sensation from her?hmm but I'm not the unike that loves her. There's another, called Xabier mendes. but he's not smart, he's not inteligent. He has like 16 and he's still in 9'th grade.so, well he's lazy.I'm just trying to make the situation in my mind. I'm infront her.so, how do I say her I love her? all the class say she's very cute. and I love her voice, her personality, her form of being in the real life. I fall inlove on her!thanks?signature:

Re: Games from audiogame.it any good?

Well Conner, I agree with you gameplay trumps good sound and acting, but if the sound and acting is there that is a. However I disagree there is nothing to do in Inquisitor. "solve the puzzles" is  exactlly what you get in that style of game, but saying "that is all is to do" is rather like saying "all there is to do in 3D velocity is fly a plane" Inquisitor is an audio adventure game, wysiwyg! That is to say what you see is what you get. While it is true that inquisitor, like most such adventure games doesn't have a tonne of replay value beyond reliving the atmosphere (good though this is), at the same time Inquisitor does at least have a score and some side turnings to explore. Above all however, I think you seriously hurt your enjoyment if you just used the devine help all the time and didn't try exploring and at least attempting to guess the puzzle solutions. I personaly made it a rule that I'd only use devine hel
p if I went more than about ten or fifteen minutes without seeing anything new in the game, and while I did use devine help a couple of spoil the game and I spent most of the time heavily invested in the story and atmosphere, trying to work out my next move and what was going on as the developers obviously intended, which is why i regard Inquisitor as Audio it's best game.

yeah well, I don't really judge the game by it's voice acting and stuff, more by the things you can do. I think it's better to have a game with crap sounds and voice acting as Long as there is something to do instead of a game with great sounds, Story and acting but with nothing to do accept solve the puzzles and then delete it again.

Re: A really good Dr. who related Youtube series

It was certainly interesting. The contrast between the Doctor's efforts to help others and the Monk's determination to help himself was very clear by the end, though I may have preferred it if the Monk had believed in some twisted logic that he had been doing what was right rather than just looting a planet he believed about to be destroyed to sell its artifacts later. The idea of a dalek time controller was quite a decent one as was the idea of a plague planet that just flew around infecting the galaxy, though why they specifically chose Earth for this purpose I'm not sure. And people actually died! The timing of the radio run has been very interesting given it coincided with the new TV series and the comparison is very, very stark. In fact I'd almost have wished the new TV series hadn't happened in some ways and had instead been made as a radio series by Big Finish, they certainly couldn't have made it any worse.I agree regarding the fe
male master, she would have been interesting as a just flat out hardcase. There really is too much flirting in new Who for its own good, at least since Mophat got his paws on it.I also agree regarding the unspoken sexism against men, in fact I suspect a lot of it is from men themselves insisting on a very rigid definition of masculinity. I actually find John Barrowman in interviews quite masculine without all that macho nonsense, in part explaining my admiration for him. Well that and he has a wonderfully dirty sense of humour similar to mine. I will admit there are many cases where women are over sexualised yet at the same time I feel there's also the fact that men can be under sexualised, it's strange that sexualised women so often are made such by showing skin yet sexualised men often don't show skin at all or if they do it's invariably focussed on pecs. Now here's a strange thought that just occurred to me, what if a transgender timelord reg
enerated into the opposite gender? Would a male to female transgender timelord become a female to male transgender lady? Would they simply appreciate being moved into a body which better fits their gender identity? Or would the personality shift that accompanies regeneration wipe away the whole transgender business altogether?

Re: Space exploration Browser game, Astro Galaxy

@masackru no idea on Ce, perhaps a browser issue? @narf, go to   the modules section. the same way there is a list of your modules and they have "move to cargo" above them, there should be a "Transfer personell" link above the living quarters module. It is fine with Ie, and I don't see why Jaws would be having an issue with it. Once you've hit that, the transfer personell screen should be pretty much just like the "hier new personell" one on the ship maintenance center, accept there are quick links to trasfer different percentages of personell to each module. Type 200 (I think the step required 200), into the box near the ftl drive then hit the bottom transfer link to have done with that step.

What exactly is this? I'm a little confused at what it is for, is it just to create an install of adventure at C: with shortcuts on the desktop and programs menu? or does it do more than thatt. As I have said before I'd love some propper distributions of Aac maps and extra levels rather than them just being handed around the community on    Torrent folders or shared dropbox, if this program of yours can help with that that would be awsome.

Nope masackru, the fuel isn't like Core exiles on a timer, you can either buy fuel cells, or convert resources into fuel. There is however waiting involved sinse all the ships calculate their jumps to other star systems in real time, which can take several hours, though I believe when your heavily into the game you can have multiple ships, and also have some bennifits to reduce this time downn.

Yo guys thanks for the information related to Narrator. I'm an android user, and I'll clear that Talk back throws Narrator away. I use talk back for all apps and so far I don't see any problem with it. I browse websites, use facebook, messenger, skype, watsapp, viber and all the internal apps. Skype is especially incredibly accessible with talk back. At first I expected a worse performance at all, but now I feel impressed by it's performance. It's even better than Mobile accessibility, at least in versions 4.3 and 4.4.2 or 4.4.4. I think you should give a try before judge talkback.

Re: Games from audiogame.it any good?

I disagree with Conner here. The higher prices of Audio It's games are to do with the quality of the audio atmosphere and sound and the translation. While the games do vary (and I'll express my opinions of them below), do remember that that! is the reason the games are a trifle more expensive, though to anyone who remembers paying 40 usd for Chillingham or Grizly gulch the 15 usd prices don't seem half as bad. Also, if you buy them on ios you can get the games in bundle form, meaning they are about half the price for each. This is what I have done, the games worked out at about 8 usd each which is fine with me.The strength of the inquisitor is the world, fine audio and really unique character, plus the puzzles. It actually does have replay value sinse it has a score factor according to how many objects you find and puzzles you do, and there are side tasks to the main story. it's not as if the game is constantly randomized or anything, but it is there, an
d it's doubful you'll find everything the first time through. Also, if your going to use devine help constantly then of course your not going to have an interesting time, if you want to get more out of the game your best off using Devine help as the last resort it was intended to be when your stuck. indeed, if your just going to progress through the game using devine help, you might as well buy an audio drama for all the interaction you will have. Inquisitor is imho the best of Audio.it's games I've played thus far, though I have not yet played the other two in the series. Inquisitor's heartbeat I do find rather disappointing. The atmosphere is there, as is the story, but the game is essentially a randomly generating maze game, you might as well play entombed or Paladin of the Skies and miss off the rpg battling. It was a nice idea, especially with the random dungeon generation, but it feels like half a game. She Noire is however another winner
. While I felt the story and puzzles weren't as coherent as Inquisitor, I did like the atmosphere. Some people cryticize the object search mechanic, but I personally liked it, I just wish that firstly the writing had been a bit tighter, saying where you got objects from rather than having them randomly appear, and secondly that the same actor hadn't played two very important characters, (he's a good actor, but didn't distinguish the parts well enough). Still a most interesting game especially for it's atmosphere, albeit not up to inquisitor. Audio speed is imho the only major failure from Audio It, sinse I really had trouble working out what was going on and how the controls were supposed to function on Ios. This game really needed a tutorial, or better still a practice mode where you could try the controls out. The sounds of what I heard were good, but for an action game that just isn't enough. In fairness racing isn't my thing anyway so I
might be a bit overly harsh with this, though i do feel that Audio It should go and work on the game some more rather than leaving it as a release to the public. I will be buying flarestar sinse a scifi adventure definitely suits me, though I'll be waiting for the release of the Ios version. Of the four of their 7 games I've played I'd say inquisitor was excellent, She noire good, Inquisitor's heartbeat around average and only audio speed really dreadful, which is a pretty good track record. I'll also add that one thing I admire about Audio It is that they are not afraid to experiment. They crack out the releases quickly, they talk to their fans and then they crack out some more. While I do sometimes wish that they'd spend a little more time bug fixing and taking care of their previous releases (she noire could've been excellent with tighter writing, and audio speed definitely needed more time spent on it), at the same time I'd r
ather have that than a developer who sits on their arse producing one safe, pong sterrio targit style affair each year. Also, Audio It are not just audio game producers, they make graphical puzzles too, and they release all their games in multiple languages (including latin), and for multiple platforms.I have to admire that sort of scope, even if, as I said they could do with putting on the breaks occasionally. So yes, my advice would be to give their games a try, especially Inquisitor (and don't just play with the devine help), indeed if you can get their bundles, that is definitely a good way around.

hello, their okay, but I think a Little overpriced sinse they are so repetative. the Inquisitor for one, is a commun adventure game and once you've played it once there's no real replay value. the voice acting is good, though. also you can get throug hthe games without doing anything by using divine help. it can't get you out of every situations but it can get you through most. the inquisitor' heartbeat also is not very good in Terms of replay value, because it's endless mode also gets very repetative. she nwoir doesn't really have much challenge behind it, you get good at finding objects very quickly and again, there's no replay value behind it. Audio sped is only playable if you are very and I ean very! fast with reacting, because there is no accurate way of properly turning.

@Sebby glad you like the stream, the battery life on mine is quite astounding at the moment. it'll apparently handle podcasts though I've not tried yet, and it's easy enough to digitize cds, indeed even when I was using Itunes this is what I was doing with the Rnib stuff, (the chap I spoke to from humanware actually said it was quite common for people to do that). The stream will also handle m3u playlists too if you like that sort of thing as well, though I never cared about playlists myself and only used them in Itunes to make things play in order. The victor will handle some sorts of text files too though I never cared for reading in text anyway and never used Itunes for that. in general I don't miss Itunes and am glad to be without it, much as I still like my Iphone for the games, aps etc. indeed I'm only keeping Itunes on my computer to backup my phone settings in case I decide to buy an Iphone six, sinse annoyingly apple killing the sidebars wh
ich buggered the tree view in Itunes 12 doesn't affect that as the sinking and backup options are available from the main file menu. To be honest I'd rather not even use Itunes for this, just give me a simple backup program, or better still, just let me copy the relevant files and back them up properly on my external harddrive, though at least this is a miner annoyence as compared to the torturous streight jacket of trying to get Itunes to work with media. The sooner Apple stop with this stupid itunes mallarchy and just give people the freedom to use their devices how they want the better, and if apple don't, (as seems likely), well I'll just do my own thing regardless.

Hi.I can give you a zip file, but I'm not sure that will help. I think the best thing to do is to contact the developper. Maybe he will know what to do.Have a nice day.Francois

Awsome, I didn't expect it would be long once they started on adding the text labels, and it'll be great to finally get out into the galaxy and start exploring.

Re: A really good Dr. who related Youtube series

Well oddly enough, Lesbians seem more accepted on Tv than gay men, particularly lesbians just being two normal female characters who like each other, though just put this down to the usual unrecognized sexism against anyone male. Interestingly enough, Jo ford in his cryticisms of Startrek Tng actually does note that for all their vaunted acceptance, where are the gay or by men, and why only weerd alien lesbians?I wasn't to be honest thinking timelord Gender switching in lesbian terms (though we all know Moffat would do that with the character sinse the man does have certain obsessions especially with women), I was just thinking as you said in character terms. I'd have loved to see a sort of hard as nails female master rather like the White Witch from the Bbc narnia series, ie, just a rock hard lady with the charisma of Christopher Lee as apposed to the usual flirty and gobby moffat female. There are of course other possibilities, the Meddling monk turn
ing into the annoying nun? .  Btw, speaking of the Meddling monk, how did you rate "to the death" now there was a good finale.

Re: a proposal, jaws lite shareware by freedom scientific

I don't believe I see anybody arguing that price isn't an important factor. Hell, if I could _choose_ Android, I would. I can't, because the accessibility just isn't good enough (yes, yes, Android fans, I know how passionate you are to correct this misperception, but please save your breath). The cost of an iPhone is still the same as it is for any other person, and I think you're getting better value for your money; you just can't add the cost of a computer and JAWS up and come up with anything reasonable.Narrator is indeed surprisingly good--not up to the level of VoiceOver yet, but I'm fairly sure Microsoft will get there eventually. I'm more annoyed that the Windows installer still isn't accessible. FFS, how long?
