Why are some games flag as a harmful file?

Hello.As the topic ask. Why are some games flag as a harmful file?I notice this happens with some games such as Darkened Chain, Night Of Parasite and other games. It seems that the virus protection no matter which one it flags some games as the following.Virus, trojan, malware and other kind of harmful files. What do you do in cases like this?Thanks.

also guys, i'm gonna update it too but in1809 i have problem:when i'm increasing or dicreasing volume of my laptop, if my screen reader is talking or if i'm playing something on youtube, or music, my laptop is making so wierd voice i can't explain you but i can record and show you. So if you can help me i will really apritiated this. In windows 8.1 i don't had this problem.

Some of you (apparently) are seemingly forgetting some interesting facts about the internet.First, your IP address is public. It is sent to every computer that your computer connects to, including intermediaries. Every computer you connect to, whether you know it or not, knows your IP address as soon as the TCP or UDP connection initiation process starts. There is no avoiding this. The reason is quie simple: if your IP address was not sent to the destination computer, it would have no way of responding to your requests. (Fun fact: on a local area network, not only is your internal network IP address known by every computer on the network, but your MAC address is too!)Second, do not be afraid or scared by computers being able to locate you. The location features that most people use, bar GPS systems or built-in GPS transceivers, uses a feature called geolocation. Geolocation is well known for being close-to-accurate to ridiculously inaccurate. As an example, in my college in Devils Lake, North Dakota, my location was shown as being in Bismarck (the capital of ND) instead of Devils Lake. Bismarck is approximately 878.3 miles from Devils Lake. If that doesn't convince you of how wildly inaccurate geolocation can be, I don't know what will.Third, hiding your location via geolocation is as simple as using a VPN or tor. Note that, with both, it is possible to determine that a VPN is in use or that Tor is being used, but this requires, at minimum, router-level access to figure out, and can't be judged on a dime.

Anti virus software looks for different signs that a file might contain a virus. It tries to perform heuristic analysis on how a file might behave, what things it might access and so on. They also use a database of signatures, which are basically patterns of data that is known to come from a virus. And sometimes to air on the side of caution such a signature may not be very specific or the anti-virus software might be configured to flag something even if the presence of potentially viral data isn't very high. Such signatures can for example include patterns that indicate a programming language commonly used to make a virus like AutoIt or Pure Basic was used, or the application was compressed with an Exe packer - it's a program that can be used on a compiled exe to make it smaller, but virus creators often use these to make decompilation and reverse engineering more difficult and this is the case with BGT programs. Such a pattern might also indicate a large, obfiscated block of compiled code that is jumped to by a small subroutine right when the program launches - which is also something BGT does because it has to run the compiled angelscript somehow.So the gist of it is that because virus coders are moving so quickly, AV companies try to take into consideration the most common tactics to catch as many things as possible. They think that it's better to have more false positives, but also make it more likely that the software will catch something that hasn't been officially identified yet. And considering a lot of customers  of these companies are businesses running locked down networks that are susceptible to attack from a random person bringing an infected flash drive at home or clicking on the wrong Email attachment, they feel it's the far safer option because they're less likely to lose a customer if the software misses an actual virus.

NVDA 2019.2? I am running NVDA 2019.1.1, and when I go check for updates, it says no update available. Maybe it's just beta for now.Also, the volume popup comes to NVDA no matter what app I am in, whether it be skype, firefox, or even a media player such as Winamp.It doesn't even announce the actual volume level, just floods NVDA with volume popups when the keys are held down. Also, it's not just volume controls which are spamming NVDA, for my external keyboard has special media control keys like play / stop, previous track or next track, they're actually programmable function keys but I can't configure them cause the logitech set point software, I think, that is used for configuring them, is inaccessible.

hi all, sometimes when i have 1, or 2 targets on waves, why does it say at the end, i have shot through more? trying to work out the elevation now. i think the dev wants increase the difficulty somehow.  also, to dark, it seems that when you select the shell you want to use, the crates replenish just that shell.

Once you have installed all add-ons in the numbered order you should have full access to Reaper.  Once you open up the templates pick the instruments that you want to edit and press control plus left arrow and it should highlight the midi file,  then you should press control plus E key &  it will open up the MIDI piano roll.

Nidza, of course the only solution would be to stop using the problem, but don't they have the right to tell others as well, that the programme is harmful? Because I guess, they do. Never understood such unnecessary comments which usually don't add anything to any sides, but the writers of these usually act like huge knowitalls who have enough experience to judge everyone who they bump into.

Ghorthalon, or whatever he goes by these days, made a nice post on this forum on some modules he created to aid in the development of _javascript_ audiogames. The search feature will come in handy for this. Fair warning, you might want to be familiar with NPM and the general outline of how NPM packages are structured. You can then use NPM to install the custom modules he published. Also, you might want to consider using Howler.js directly as opposed to relying on his wrapper to this library. I found there were some issues. I'm creating a small game, and another library I found to work quite well is Sono. You can even use class-like declarations to structure your code and transpile it to regular _javascript_ and bundle your app. You can even create Electron apps that will run on multiple platforms. I have a love-hate relationship with _javascript_, but it's great in that there are so many useful libraries out there to help in development.

Post 5, truth tables can be expressed as regular row-column tables. I think Wikipedia has a nice entry on truth tables you can read. On the web, they can usually be represented in standard HTML tables. These are simple tables that have headers such as, x, y, x&y, x|y, x^y, etc. Then, for each row, you have the different combination of bits that x and y can take on. I would show you an example, but not sure if you can make tables in BB code or whatever this forum system uses. That, and I am kinda in a hurry. lol A quick example of using bitwise operators to do arithmetic is by using AND operator on bits for carry bit, and XOR on the two bits to add, shift left 1 position to the left, and add. There is a very interesting implementation here: https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/add-two-n … operators/ . It uses a recursive technique, which is not very efficient, but it gets the point across. Also, a good article to read on Wikipedia is on the adder circuit. Keep in mind that at a circuit level, the ALU only has logic gates available to it. A good intro to digital logic or computer architecture might be really useful. Hope some of this is helpful and it doesn't go over your head. Users of higher-level programming languages don't usually have to concern themselves with these things, but bitwise operations and registers and all that fun stuff is essential to how programming languages can do what they do so easily.

Users of higher-level programming languages don't usually have to concern themselves with these things, but bitwise operations and registers and all that fun stuff is essential to how programming languages can do what they do so easily. If you take a computer science cirriculum, much of this is covered in an Intro to Digital Logic course, or Computer Organization course. And the real fun stuff is if you dive into Electrical Engineering and you get to play with FPGAs and microprocessors, not to be confused with microcontrollers.

Post 28, have you taken a look at the OpenStax books? These have MathML in them, and if you download MathPlayer, you should be able to get NVDA to read them quite nicely. They might not be exactly aligned with your curriculum, but you can use simple reasoning to determine what your teacher is teaching that week, and read relevant material. That, and Khan Academy. That was a life-saver for some of the courses I took in college. Also, take advantage of tutoring and TA services. Each person has a process for what works for them, but if I'm being honest, from personal experience, relying on disability services and other people can sometimes just let you down. I'm not saying they're useless, but you might need to develop strategies of your own to get through some of the hard sciences, maths, etc.

the lower cased θ is used for a plane angle in geometry.Theta is needed to position the sound because the formula that it uses should have radians instead of degrees. So I say, a wrong naming of a function leads you to this confusion. The function calculate_theta which can be found in sam's rotation package should be named calculate_radians.

Actually ironcross, something this old is capable to do much better than some of our most updated softwares, without any vsts. So yeah.Of course it can't beet reaper, but surely can beet goldwave and sound forge if we don't take file formatting as an issue in audition. Because audition does not have support for flac and ogg vorbis(version1.5) and if you add support for said file formats, if you play a flac file in open dialog, when it reaches the end of the file it dies, It also dies on some sound files that are really high quality which aren't that popular.

Well the 1:52 AM bug isn't an issue any more, but the connection interruption has changed it's time to 9:48, central time.So every day at that very time, the swamp server hiccups, and boots everyone off. I thought it best to give a heads up in case you wanna hold off starting a mission around then.Also, Aprone, would you ever consider increasing the deasle fuel drop rate for hc? I find tons of gasoline, but finding fuel is like finding hen's teeth. lol Too bad there's no way if I gain enough gasoline, I can take it to the gas station, and convert it into a can of deasle? The month of June.It is a strange time here in India, since the rainy season is just starting in this month, yet blistering heat can also be expirienced.I heard from the news reports however, that this year the rainfall might be not enough, there is going to be a drout, over forty percent of the country will be affected by this.But this is all regarding the rainfall itself. Chenai, a city in the south India, is already suffering  the drout. but this is because of the summer. even the land water levels are going down.What pissed me off about this entire situation, is that people decided to held yagyas, (A way to apeal to the gods,) rather then doing water conversation and water harvesting, as recommended by the sciantific comunity of these city.@Dark:I wanted to ask for a while, how do you read? do you have enough vision that you can read the books? or you aquire the books in such a form that you can read them?For me, I just get the books in a form of a scanned pdf, (If freely available, I download them from the internet,) otherwise by them from the market and then scan them and use the OCR.Admitedly, it is a long and frustrating process, but this is what I have. it is also helpful if the sellor itself offers the pdf.I also finished the third book of the dresden files series, half way to the plot it turned it into such a tense ride.Let me tell you guys though, aquiring this book here in India was a struggle on itself. online stores did not restock this because the series is not popular here.Come to think of it, this happens to me all the while. I really have different tastes in almost all the things of entertainment, games, and books.What's more, apparently I have gotten good enough in chess that I can check computer multiple times, but I can't still beet it.Hope you are having nice weather.

Hi,@zakc93, BrendanGriesel1 and others. What you guys need to understand and I have said this before about the handmaid's tale and other series and movies etc is these are done by hand, so do expect some issues and I also did say I'd be on a look out for a better version until then we have what we have. Something imo is better than nothing at all, although these things can be a little anoying. But the people that work on recording these, work for the love of the thing so you can't expect proffessional level quality everywhere, and there are bound to be issues like these, although we will of course try and fix them where and when we are able. I and others I am sure wouldn't mind suggestions and shows/ recordings if anyone else is willing to do that for us. suggestions as in   shows like the handmades tale is recorded via Iphone connected via a 3.5mm jack to a splitter line-in port and a speaker port to heare and record the show via audacity etc. So if there are settings/ guides instructions that anyone maybe able to provide to better the recordings, we will be very happy to recieve them. in the meanwhile I have been working on getting a better version  of the show which should be up on the audiovault in a few hours if not earlier.@AlexN94, however the Umbrella Academy is as good as it gets I am afraid and there probably won't be a replacement for that one, unless as always someone is able to provide me with better. Roy Avers does a great job generally. He really shines when he reads books by Hunter Tompson. like the great shark hunt, so freakin' funny some of those tales, I swear, he does an awesome job of putting you right in the moment!Also the wheel of time narrators were terrific I agree whoever mentioned them in an earlier post. Kate Reading sounds just so hot. lolThe folks at graphic audio are just some of the best voices in the game, in my opinion. Rick Rowen to be sure. Though some of the ladies are over used. Though who could ever get enough of Colleen Delaney, man she is sooo talented!.

Switching regions doesn't get you the demo, as far as  know. You need to actually create a Japanese account which among other things, requires you to use a Japanese address. If you're willing to do that thouh then by all means grab the demo.  I don't know if switching regions also switches stores, but I doubt it. At least, on psn it doesn't work like that. Might be different for xbox1 though... you could always ry it and keep us updated!

There is a text adventure for glulx with tons of sound called transparent. It's pretty creepy. Still, nothing quite makes me jump like a particular scene in darkened chain. I literally started pressing my keys harder to try to get away from the place.

I don't know whether this has been mentioned before, but Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai is very playable.The menu's don't loop, and you can play everything from the story to setting up a custom arcade battle.Don't get confused with Shin Budokai Another Road though, as that game has an inaccessible story were you have to fly through maps and so on.

Hi.at 40, yep, this is exactly what you want to do. Although the system confused me at first, because logically, the lower you would set your angle, the farther the shell would fly because the angle of attack is lower and the force pushing the shell could go directly forward.Normaly, if you would want to shoot targets closer to you,  you would need to increase the angle of your shot, so the shel would go up, forward a bit and then fall back down to the ground, I don't know why the game handles this differently.Greetings Moritz.

So, I've finished it. Here are my thoughts:SpoilerFirst, the positives. The concept is great. I have never seen something like that. I'm a huge fan of experimental games, so this was absolutely my thing. The story was good to, but I would have liked a bit more explanation of what this time loop actually does. What's the point of doing this, why did time progress anyway after the chapters and how can we leave the time loop in the end? This was all a bit to vague for my tastes.The puzzles are really fun to figure out. Not very difficult, but it's cool to see something work and hear how the stations change their programs. But it's a bit sad that every single puzzle is clued so much. I felt they were a bit to easy.The speakers were great. I'm from germany, so I played with german voices and replayed with english voices afterwards. As in most games, the english voices are better, but the german synchronisation is not far behind. Especially the talk moderator is absolutely fantastic in german.Now the negatives: This game is wayyy to short. Five chapters long and then it's already over when you start to really get immersed into this world and care for the people. For my first playthrough, I needed about one hour and then, when you know what you're doing, you can finish it in about seven minutes or so.Next, the choices. Or should I say the achievements that make you think you made a choice. You really can't influence the greater story at all. You can only influence the moderators a little bit. And this is done in one single chapter. The rest of the chapters, you can't change the slightest bit. So, in this one chapter, you decide whom to trust with your informations and that's it. One chapter later, this moderator will behave a bit differently and the ending broadcast of this moderator changes. That's it. This wouldn't bother me as much, wouldn't there be this ending. So, the normal reaction to the ending is the following: Oh shit, I didn't solve the game. This is the bad ending, and I'm happy to try again and get a different outcome. And then you try ... and try ... and try ... but there is nothing you can do. There was so much potential for a greater puzzle about whom to trust and how to send your informations to and change the outcome of the story. But no, there is nothing you can do. I'm not the "every story must have a happy ending" type, not at all, but this ending is so unbelievably anticlimactic I can't believe it. If we think about it, not sending any information to anybody should yield about the same outcome. This feels like they wanted to do more but then there was the deadline or the money went out or something and they simply had to stop midway through the game.So, I've mixed feelings about this. Great concept, but flawed execution.What do you think?

the sims is a life simulator where you control a group of charicters or just one wich you create before the actual game.You can create a family and live there life.you can create a single person and get them maried and make kidsor you can play as someone with no home and do small things to earn money to build one.This's just what i know from the sims sighted versions but i'm sure that the vertuals i think it's called will be much better.

The game's two years old and I'd argue it became a bit of what I can only describe as a modern cult classic before kind of disappearing, and I mean that in the best way possible because it was such a cool little experience with a lot of replay value. The only issue is I don't know if narrator will work if I switch region. If I switch to the US, the store also switches, it was the only way I could use narrator back in the day luckily I can now use the UK store.

Hmm. Microsoft does have Japanese voices, but I can't be certain, not having ever owned an xbox. I am seriously considering buying one, just so I have both consoles... and for the accessibility, obviously. But again, try, and let us know.. might be handy to have someone sghted around, just in case. The demo is also available in the hong kong store, which is in English apparently.

@Lucas Sure, but the best part of the game as it used to be, at least for me, was the ability to stop at settlements other people made, and choose to make new settlements to help other people later. Kinda takes the fun out of it when I'm making a new character every five minutes and only stopping at towns my last characters made, you know? Just my take.@Kinshira, Aprone hosted it on his own server several years ago, but stopped because it wasn't getting enough people and he needed the server space for Swamp and Castaways.

I also loved Chris Barrie as a narrator. He narrated the Red Dwarf books after acting in the TV series as Rimmer, and puts enthusiasm into the narration as well as remarkably well-done impressions of the other characters that almost sound true to the voice actors that played those parts in the show.

@Jaidon.vinnie_ware Hate to disappoint  but i'm one of those people who witnessed your ban. you were jailed, and 2 warnings were given you to stop. and you earned the ban by ignoring those warnings and you continued to insult people. I can provide logs if needed. so yeah, your ban was perfectly justified.
