Yeah, I figured out the virus thing.But here's the thing. I did full screen mode, and I still can't get the touch pad thing to work.Do I have to look at another setting in the emulator?I know the touchpad itself is working fine, it annoys me everyday whenever it inadvertently moves my cursor or changes windows on me. I tried touching my finger for where I know say the cafe to be, but like when I click the mouse buttons it doesn't do anything.

Hi all,I've posted a few times on audiogames about how I will never be able to code games, even in comparatively simple languages such as BGT, and how frustrated I was while trying to learn. Nevertheless, something in me keeps me coming back and trying, despite my dozens of impulses to just throw in the towel and give up the endeavor. I guess I have always dreamed of designing something and trying to make it happen, because musically I'm pretty good at doing just that. and I enjoy games enough to have a spark in me that keeps wanting to try. And I do make progress with coding, so not all hope is lost.I'm more comfortable with basic constructs like loops, functions and conditional statements than I ever was before. I'm not at a level most would consider good, but I definitely feel a lot better than I did, and have made a few small programs with those constructs. But I still struggle to know if i'm coding cleanly, or even to know if I can code something at all.Right now, I'm working on trying to understand objects/classes in BGT. I get their purpose at least on a basic level. The low tones are for pressing the arrows. You are listening for little high pitch chirps to tell you what arrow to press next. They kinda sound like "cheio". So after the chirp, you hear the low tone on the next beat, then on the next beat you press the appropriate arrow as indicated by 5. I can do 3 or 4 waves  before it gets too fast for me lol.

i like to make futuristic sounds or experimental sounds. i make a lot of things ranging from generator noises to motors and some steps i created. i want to show something i created. you must ask me and credit me if you want to use my roofsteps. if you want the original file ask me in pm. i can give them. i work for free because i dont have a credit card.here's a sample of my work. note. the white noise was put there on purpose, because i cannot allow someone to remove the noise out of there. so the white noise is not static, so you will not be able to remove it unless you use a proprietary software. here it is! the original one has no white noise. i'll not say how i did it because i dont really remember.roof steps. if you want to use it, ask for the original file somewhere. the first 8steps or so, and the land sound toge3ther with the fall sound. the land and fall sound sound more lowder and diferent than the others. i'm better making steps than landing or falling sounds of those steps.here it is. note. i'm new at uploading to dropbox, so if it throws a 404 error teach me how to upload correctly.https://www.dropbox.com/s/xih6drqy38ye1 … f.ogg?dl=0

This ended up becoming fairly long, but maybe this will help:Once you're in the game and have closed out all the intro windows (one with some intro text, then another asking if you want to appoint any noble houses), you will be selecting your one of two workers. The game will be paused at this time.Press shift "b" (that is capital "B") to start tabbing through info about the worker and the land it is on. Some of the info shown in this mode are the actions (and the keyboard shortcuts to activate them) you can assign to the worker.The keys "." and "," move the text cursor forward and backward respectively through lines of this text. Escape exits this mode and brings you back to the map.You first likely want to build a city hall. This can be initated by pressing 'h'. (this is one of the worker options you can tab through, as described above)Then select the city hall option -- which can be done by arrow keys up and down or by pressing 'c'.If you press enter, a city hall will be built near your worker.Press ';' and the game will take you to your next unmoved unit -- which is another worker. I generally leave the second worker idle for the first turn (by pressing 'p')And press ';' again and you will be taken to an explorer. Probably you want to set the explorer to auto-explore -- press shift "b" and start tabbing through the actions for the explorer and you'll find that you can press "l" to automate the explorer's exploration.So you've now assigned three actions to each of your three units. Now you can progress game time.Press shift "r" and your text cursor will be moved to info about general game info such as the time and your economy. You can tab through this text again with the "." and "," keys. You'll find that there's an option to press "@" to progess game time until any one of your units finishes their actions.If you press "@", you will, in this circumstance progress game time one day. Because your second worker, whose turn you passed, will become active again in the next game day.Press escape and the game will take you back to the map (and out of the mode you were just in tabbing through the game info text).Press ';', again to bring you to that now idle worker.Probably the next thing to do would be to automate that worker so that it will create residential, business, industrial, and agricultural zones and city walls. As before, you can press shift "b" to start tabbing through the actions for this worker and you'll find that you can press '8' to automate it.Now time to progress game time again. Press shift "r" to again start tabbing through the game info and press "@". And again game time will be progressed until one of your units finishes their actions. The next idle unit will be the worker you told to build the city hall.What you do after that is up to you. But that's the general game loop. Assign units actions, and progress time.There's also other stuff in the menus that might be useful. From the menus you can, for example pull up tables of your units and what they are doing. You can also bring up tables describing your cities and nobles. Also, highhat rolls and cymbal rolls in general are, I'll not say always, but probably 99.99 percent of the time technically done as a time dependent roll. Since the stick doesn't get much rebound on a metal surface, you can at most get two or three bounces per stick before it tapers off and the others just sound weak. Most realistically, you are best doing 32nd notes or 16th note triplets in most cases.

I stopped using the piracy addons because I refuse to pay extra just so I can have access to their content.If I'm going to do that, then I may as well just pay for Netflix or disney plus, which is what I'm doing anyway.I'm using addons to access Netflix and disney plus.They're not official, but you do need to have accounts with those services.There's even addons for a few of the Aussie streaming services.Kodi doesn't have to be used for pirated content, which no doubt, is what a majority of people use it for, but I stopped using it for piracy, because I got tired of running into dead links.I know there are services you can pay for to get reliable links, but like I said above, what's the point when you may as well just pay for a legit service.You can actually change the speech settings in kodi by hitting F6.F12 will toggle the screen reader on and off.It's these little things the guide doesn't tell you that are usefull.I know about them because the author of the addon mentioned them on the thread for the screen reader quite some time ago.There's nothing wrong with the guide, they must have added an extra service because it is now down arrow 10 times on windows when it use to be 9.I wrote a similar guide on the official kodi screen reader thread on their forums, probably some time last year, so it'll be a few pages back in that thread, and the person at the time was able to get up and running right away.I really don't know why some people have issues getting things up and running, everything works fine at this end.Anyway, I think I've rambled on enough.

I think the script is like 90% as far as functional testing is concerned, I don't really want ot do the manual BS that it woudl take to bring the thing inline with it though. The first command isn't necessary; just a simple use of keybase follow  will do the trick. You gotta look at keybase help again -- you can do everything you can do from the GUI in the command-line (and then some).

I quite enjoy the wuxi genre, and designing games with this story type seems like a good way to expose non-Chinese players to Chinese literature, especially if an English translation is actually being seriously considered. While I've said more than my fair share about paying for games, this game looks like its pay aspect is well justified. Translation serviceces aren't cheap, and I doubt international servers are either. This game has drawn a lot of attention already; hopefully it can live up to all our hopes.

I use the client because I'm not good with command line stuff. But I have used the command line to review and recover archived files and folders.The windows client gui could be coded better, but it is usable. A little frustrating, but I won't complain that much because at least there is one instead of forcing everyone to use the command line for every single thing.

From your pack, I'll do a side by side comparison of how it is currently, and how it should be if you were using my script.ppi.play(GetInfo("56").."/worlds/clok/steps/foliage/"..math.random(1,10)..".ogg",0,0,Gv)would becomeplay_random{"snd=steps/foliage/", max=10}And I think that wouldn't work because the patern is looking for some sort of thing like step1, step2, step3, step4, not just 1, 2, 3, 4. I've posted a new release of the game with a new screen reader mode featuring some of what was suggested in this thread. The main benefit of this mode is that it makes the text cursor visible and places it near relevant text in some of the in-game windows and menu selections. I also made some other small changes like removing flashing of things in the game so screen readers don't get stuck in a loop repeating whatever is changing.I wrote up a wiki page on the game's website with some of my notes and suggestions about using some of the features I've added:https://www.arcanefortune.com/wiki/inde … en_readersIf you want to play the game I highly recommend reading that page because some of what I added (tabbing through text with the text-mode cursor) is not going to be obvious unless you checkout that page.There's definitely more than can be done to make this game more accessible. But hopefully this release is a little more accessible than the last one.
