Yeah, I've definitely addressed all those questions before, but to sum it up:1. I'm intending that the game be for PC primarily. I'm not at a point where I'd want to release it to mobile, as that's a whole other environment.2. I'm intending to sell it, which means that yes, I'd be willing to compensate a coder for their time, but I don't have hard and fast rules on how that would get done. We'd have to talk shop if someone was interested.3. Turn-based JRPG is what we're after here. Movement similar to A Hero's Call.4. As far as complexity, a few points. Entities need to be able to modify their AI based on conditions (i.e., if you use a fire spell on a monster, it can respond with an ice spell, and other such things). Multi-person party that can be changed on the fly (again, think A Hero's Call). Zoning on maps (for instance, a road is safe but the surrounding map has random encounters on it). Rudimentary day-night system, and NPCs (including enemies) which react a little differently depending on whether it's day or night. Skills and spells learned via level-up, some of which have their own interactions (i.e., rage for barbarians, shadows for illusionists, learning certain enemy spells for scholars, etc.).

at post 17 not really, i can't pay outside of algeria, or, at least not yet for me, however i do have legal access to the pro sound effects intire online collection, any sound design i do is free and from my own time and hie quality as welli do agree that the audio industry is expensive indeed, but form wher i come, you can get greate beter sounding results if you're creative enough and with the right use of the tools at yur hands, simply because your daw contains most 80% of the work that other plugins mite do for you, i realisd this when i began using basicly a huge selection of free plugins that does difrent stuf here and their, but i can't quite say that they're not useful either, like reverb plugins or other effects for that matter

lol Frankly, I don't even want to worry about sound yet, since I don't have coding lined up. That'd be a lot llike kitting out a car with all the bells and whistles (leather interior, a great stereo with a sub-woofer, sunroof or a pop-top, nice paint job, custom body) without sticking an engine in it. And a car with no engine is basically just decoration. I need an engine before anything will run.

Sound Design, and royalty-free sounds in particular, is a very expensive hobby. I started investing money into that business back in 2016 and have invested way over $1 since then. But then again, you can come up with something really great by just using the free stuff from freesound.org as long as you are creative enough, know your tools and have some decent effects to work with, which might end up costing some money too, but by far not as much as the sounds do.

yeah He said he had 34gb of sounds. THat really is a drip in the water if you look at something like  the total of the Sonnis.com audio bundles, each of which is about 10-12 gb. They've been releasing a yearly bundle since 2015 meaning that he could easily have 55gb of sounds just from those.

@Trajectory: From the looks of it, this iteration is in BGT, i.e. the prototype, as proof of concept. Paul did say he had definite plans to move this over to a new, more modern language, though from the looks of it this first generation is what's going to be released first, and then the next gen will be in a new programming language. Scripting is a definite possibility then through Lua.

Sadly, Sable is a dead end. Since it's built in BGT they can't implement scripting, which means you won't be able to customize your gameplay.Sable could potentially flourish if they were willing to open source it, because then people could develop games with their own custom modifications to the Sable engine. Otherwise, it's just a rehash of the Audio Game Maker debacle, for those of us who were around back in 2006.

Bingo. I won't even consider sounds or music that isn't legal. I mean, I'm sure if I dug around enough, I could take some Final Fantasy/Chrono Trigger sounds and music and probably end up with a pretty believable soundscape for the game, with a little extra splashed in. But I am absolutely -not gonna do that. This needs to either be wholly original, or, more likely, it needs to be legally obtained and modified.The true hurdle at least so far is code. I understand code logic, sorta kinda, so I generally know what is and isn't possible. But I can't actually do programming. At all. Completely useless in that sense.

If you check out the Sable thread, I already asked a question there to see if the sort of things I wanted could be handled. It was demonstrated that the sort of complexity I'm after is well beyond Sable, at least thus far.That doesn't mean Sable is terrible. I'm not against it. It just won't work for what I want to do with this game.And when I say most of my heavy lifting is done, what I mean is, I have design docs for stats and gear and whatever else. Literally all I'd have to do is write out a script, create the proper entities once all the underpinnings were built, then get into the sound side. I have exactly zero experience with sound on my own end, but I am a musician, so I have an idea of what I'm after. Whether that means digging up tracks off the internet and paying licensing fees, or creating a custom sound track, I don't know and frankly I'm not that far along.

Short answer: I'd still like to make it.I had a coder lined up back in 2017, but that ultimately didn't work out.I had interest from a coder in 2020 as well, someone who was going to look at using their engine to try and build it. They asked me to provide a basic prototype, something simple to sort of test everything I was looking for. I did that. Haven't heard too much since.So I'd still love to, but I'm getting the sense that if I can't find a dedicated coder and at least one sound-design person, it may never actually come to fruition. Most of my heavy lifting is done already, mind you.

Racially-motivated violent crimes have dropped steadily since the beginning of 2010-s, and the common traveler is unlikely to face any major problems.In addition, sometimes, especially in smaller cities, people of a different skin color can attract the attention of random pedestrians. They may stare at you more often or try to talk to you, so keep this in mind.

I'm not from Russia, but I've met a few Russians and had the chance to hang out with them for quite some time, and they are really friendly and welcoming. Of course, everyone is different, which means that not every Russian you meet will be friendly and caring and welcoming; however, in my case I can say that I felt really well in their presence.

Hi. @derekedit, people don't use those manamons in any other battles accept their own friends as far I know. We were having fun for 2 days, then we returned to normal style. Normal is more fun though.@Julian, you can get it in Requia. In Dyas Ruins, I think that is what it's called. When you take any 1 of the 3 items, you will be able to see a pit, go in there, you can see a loanly Ghost Lonar.

I know of somebody who owns a hyper Spongenate, Hyper Garganchan, hyper Tarboo, hyper Guarrarel, hyper Bombusect, hyper Airrvar, hyper Hydrike. roflfl as friends, I battled against him, in some battles, he messed up big time so I was able to beat him  you know how to get one. Correct?

Yeah, sadly not. You could turn on always speak notifications, but that will just cause it to instead read  the notification out loud, which is most  of  the time not what you want. I actually wouldn't mind it, but  that will introduce another problem, and that  is  whenever Voiceover is reading something and a notification comes in, the reading will  be interrupted to announce the notification.

Alright so i actually a bi of an update to share. So after a lot of looking and screwing around,I actually did figure out how to get the tabs from ultimate guitar. the site can be a real pain in the ass sometimes, taking forever to load, and I don't think that was just my internet because everything else was loading just fine, but hey what do I know. But yeah, if you want to get tabs from there then you most definitely have the option to do so. Just don't get discouraged if it decides to be frustrating. And then if you need an accessible tab reader, then you can get lunar tabs as I mentioned in my last post. It is not being updated anymore, but it does work really well and honestly, I have found it to be so so helpful.

Two things here.At Connor true, I also like watching it in English, GOT is a prime example on how different accents can improve a story, but for those ocasional cases where you want to relax to a series and not really get invested into translating things you don't really understand, it would be good to have a German AD track, as well as for those people who, strange as it sounds, don't speak English enough so they could understand a series like GOT, which, to be honest, is quite complex at times.At Julian well I think that prison brake does have an English AD track in the German netflicks, I'm not subscribed to Netflicks right now though.Greetings Moritz.

Well I'm the sort of person who wants to watch things in their original language, as long as I can understand it. I wouldn't watch GoT in german, for instance. There are just some things you lose out on if you watch a dubbed version, like people with different accents and such.

@2, well as of right now, I am looking at a few different things. I did find some tabs this morning for some of the band Erra's older music, and let me tell you, that stuff is hard. There is one song that I am currently learning by ear though and that is Aftermath by The Ghost Inside. That one has been relatively easy to learn by ear I would have to say.

That's correct. Every original I've watched so far only has english AD, if it's an american or british series. If it's a non-english series, you'll usually have AD in the series's first language, and if it's popular enough internationally, it usually has an english AD as well. There are some good german series with german AD though, like Dark and We Are The Wave.

Wow yes, the only options I have are telephone, tape recorder, fm radio, cd and dvd quality. They are all 16-bit. I don't know if that might relate to stereo compatibility or not. Sadly there was no other option that had to do with channels.

Except I don't really know which of the two things I got is causing the problem.I've messed around in the mmsys.cpl thing and I couldn't find anything related to one channel under advanced or any other section for that matter wich probably means I didn't look closely enough or didn't look in the right place? I assume, that you want to view the comments in Google Classroom or Google Drive? I am not sure how that works. I instead asked my teachers to give a private comment. @Minionslayer, I think it is not text always, sometimes some portion is highlighted to grab attention.By the way, if we view a file in Adobe Reader and press alt and tap right aero 2 times in View sub menu, we can see the comment sub menu or something like that. Though that doesn't work properly for me.

If you're using something like MS Word or GDocs, your screen reader will probably announce changes if track changes is enabled. Otherwise, they will usually mark their comments with an asterisk (*) on the page. Both Word and Docs have commenting systems as well if you're exclusively using those, but I don't know how accessible they are.

It's AMD.A new processor will only help you that much. Thing is, if the processor can go up to a certain speed, the other components of the computer or laptop need to be in the same range to not create bottlenecks or a CPU that can't use it's full potential.Especially when converting, RAM that's cclocked at a lower MHZ value, or an insuficient graphics card.Greetings Moritz.

Oh absolutely. That 800 video may actually take several weeks on your underpowered processor. My current ryzen r7, 4800H converted about 17 flac files, each an hour long, in about 4 minutes. It has 8 cores and 16 threads.

erm, why should the program files (x86) directory be empty after she installed it? it should have more than one item in it as well as by default windows and microsoft have some program files, welll, stored in there for use. However, has she tried, or you tried, running the installer as administrator and then restarting the machine once the installation finishes? Running it as admin can elevate the process and allow it to do some things it might not be able to do if it is not elevated, and when you install a program it is best to restart the pc if it doesn't force you to already.
