Thank you very much Craig, I assume its the HighJump warehouse management solution you are directing me towards. At first glance it is probably beyond what the prospect is looking for at this stage (they are replacing an XAL system due to MS' end of support policy and so have very limited budget and are more focussed on making sure the billing and tracking of customer's stock fits their needs rather than trying to improve the of daily operations within the warehouse) but I will look into it further and for sure it is nice to learn of such products as HighJump for future reference :) Anyone else any suggestions? [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Refresh Address Form
Hi , I am customizing customer form in Ax 4.0. When address is entered for the address in Address Tab of the customer,the same should be reflected in Customer Form-SetUp-Alt Address. I tried in ValidateWrite of Customer Form. The problem here is only when i click the save button twice, I see the record in the Address Table as well as Alt Address form. Is this a refresh problem? I tried giving datasource.refresh and reread in the validatewrite after my insertion login. Still not working. I could not figure out the solution for this. Thanks Malcom once again for your help I think TouchStone's solution was the one I came across (as I was looking at one of their other solutions a short while ago) but could not remember. Hi I can't see any reason off hand why ERS wouldn't work in a space rental scenario. We've already implemented it in traditional retail tool hire, software (as a service) and bulk rental (e.g. scaffolding) sectors so the module is pretty adaptable. Hi there, I've modified the shipment list report (which contains the WMSShipmentList table related to the WMSOrderTrans table) by adding another datasource which is a view I created which shows the quantity ordered and the quantity undelivered. This datasource is related to the WMSShipmentList table I created, linked by shipmentId. I've added this datasource to a new body under the report (showing these values under the values of the WMSOrderTrans values). but I can't get the quantity undelivered to total just like the qty field of the WMSOrderTrans datasource. Basically I just want to show two types of totals, one for the WMSOrderTrans and the other for the new datasource I created. Let me know if this is too confusing.

You can generate your own sequence numbers and can assign it to any journal For example if you want to change your journal number for the Vendor Payment then simply go to the Number sequence in basic and generate a new number sequence of your own choice and then assign it to the vendor payment journal. It's so simple and use full as well because then you can get reporting on basis of your journals for any specific journal. Hello Suneel, Are you working in AX 4.0 , if it is try the follow... 1- Remove the AX Business Connector and the AX Client from add remove program and then start the machine. 2- after restarting, remove the webApp that you created to host the EP Site from the SharePoint, IIS, Database. 3- Create a new webapplication and use the Business Connector User. 4- Reinstall the Business Connector with the Client from the AX DVD by selecting Enterprise Portal Server and by default these tow guys will come. 5- now open the ax client and check if its working fine or no, and check also if there any website in the website form if there delete it, and also check if there any ewb app that is already deployed in the deployment form. 6- check if the Business Connector User and the Domain Name if its there and defined or no. 7- for best solution, create a new configuration to be sure that your business connector user is connecting or no and save the config file in your dektop then open it. 8- start the config wizerd then deployment and the reset of the steps i think it will be eaze to find for creating the EP site because all the steps it'll come to automatically one by one for creating the site and reg the site everything. I hope if this will help you, sorry maybe i did not explain in a deep step, but if you have any isuss, i'll be here.
