Hi Nihar, Its a simple Question. No worries, You can keep Application and Database on the same server. During AX 4 installation itself, it will ask either you go to Single computer Installation or Custom Installation. If you select Single Computer Installation, you can install all the roles in a Single computer. This will be preferable for only Demo or Testing Purpose only. For Production Environment, Each role shold be installed on Different machine. Hi Vishal, If you give print archive option, the print job is saved in the Print archive table in Dynamics AX. You can see in the Print archive form from Basic--> Setup-->PrintArchive. From here you can preview and print no of times. If you select the check box save print archive option only through Print dialog form, It will not print your reports to the Report. Hi Ton, Whwnever you try to launch Dynamics AX, you should be log in as Domain Account. If you want to launch Dynamics AX from Local Account, you try to use Runas command.(Right Click Dynamics AX --> Run as) here specify the domain account which that account should be already imported into Dynamics AX. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Reports in pdf format problem.
Hi Group, I will try to save my customized report in PDF format. But the problem is that the Logo did not resized automatically. It is resized and showing correctly with in axapta. If I save that report in RTF format. it is showing Logo correctly. What could be the reason for this. I am using Axapta 3.0 with SP4 with SQL Server 2005. Can any one kindly advice on this. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Error Code 110(0x6E) while Starting AOS Service
Hi Group, I am trying to Install Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 with Service Pack1 in the SQL Server 2005 Clustering Environment. Installed Database Server and Application File Server on the Shared Hard Drive Successfully. After Installing AOS Service, The Service is starting to build index. But at one stage, The service stopped and saying this message in Event viewer as Application Log: Object Server 01: Internal Error occured executing stored procedure when creating session for the AOS. In ths System Log: The Dynamics Server$01-TESTAOS1 service terminated with service-specific error 110 (0x6E). I tried to start the sevice again, But it is not starting and throws error event ID 110. Herewith I attached that Event log file. Can any one kindly advice on this. I really want to know whether Dynamics AX 4.0 with ServicePack1 supports SQL Clustering Environment or not? [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Printer Icon is disabled.
Hi Group, I have the setup Axapta 3.0 with SP4 and Backend is SQL Server 2005. After Built Sales Order & Purchase Order Reports. I have tried to take Printout. But In Purchase Order Report, Thr Printer Icon is showing correctly. But all Sales Order reports(Quotation,Confirmation,Pick Pack Slip,Invoice),the Printer Icon is disabled. This is the Local Printer directly connected with the machine.I can see the Printer in Settings. I can Print all other files. What could be the reason. where can I check the printer settingd? [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Problem in creating Commercial Invoice.
Hi Group, I want to create a Commercial Invoice through Sales Order. I want to duplicate the existing invoice in the Posting button and the functionality are almost same . The one and only difference is that When we are clicking Posting-->Invoice, One Dialog Box appears. In my commercial Invoice the dialog shoul appear with the Posting field uncheck-in and disabled. Check the Print Option and if u press Ok the Commercial Invoice should be displayed. This is the same Invoice report. Difference is Report Name and Number sequence.
