Re: [Blind-Computing] Of a marginal nature?
Hi Cliff, Below are a couple of notes that might help: From: Marquette, Ed Well, tabs and margins, so far as I know, are set differently. If you are talking about top, bottom, left, and right margins, go to File and then Page layout. You can set all 4 margins there. For tabs, go to Format and then Paragraph. There are two tabs. Pick the one that says indents and line spacing. Tab over (and this takes several tabs) past line spacing. You will then come to a tabs dialog box. There is where you adjust your tabs. Ed From: Flor Lynch Hi Mike, I believe you'll find what you require in the format menu, Alt + O, then arrow down to it and press enter, press the tab key, to adjust settings appropriately. HINT: You can use shift+F1 for more Help in these dialogues (in Word XP) if you need it. Flor Take care. Re: [Blind-Computing] is that possible to use ms office 2003 and2010 both?
Dear Nitin, Let me say first of all I do agree with David, I have seen nothing insulting or abuse here, so hopefully it is a misunderstanding. Let me answer your question though. In my work a number of programs, rather different versions of the same program run. My I.T. supervisor tells me that you need to install them as separte enities, as if they were different products altogether. Then you can exit one and enter the other. The problems will arise when both are activated at the same time. However Mike, my I.T. supervisor tells me that it is highly unlikely that your earlier version is being over run by the later version. It will be there somewhere. I do hope this helps. Hello Nitin, I apologize that my reply was taken in the complete wrong perspective by you. By no way I wanted to offend you or any member of the list. I was just trying to be humorous and also answer your question. You mentioned in your earlier mails that you got offended by my reply in some other list, I was not made aware of such a situation. Obviously I am missing out on something here. I am guessing humor does not go down well with you. Here on, hence forth any emails from you will be strictly replied to in lawyer lingo, i.e. to the point with case instances. Request you to kindly stop making assumptions on my emails and expressing them publicly on the list, you could have mailed me personally and sort some kind of clarification first instead of getting trigger happy with your assumptions. As mentioned earlier, Microsoft won't allow you to have more than one office version/ package setup. And I really don't see any reason why someone would want to have more than one office package installed on his computer... Once again, I apologize for the misunderstanding and trust that you will learn to forgive and forget such instances. Re: [Blind-Computing] is that possible to use ms office 2003 and2010 both?
actually it may be possible with a custom install of the earlier office set, using something like office 2003 alpha (a name not expected by so not used in the 2010's install and over write functions) and then installing office 2010 with its standard setup you may be able to put both on one machine, but I think this may be the last combination like this that will be doable. the auto integration is being extended in each version of office and is becoming more complete and inescapable. good luck for whatever reason your wishing to do this, inthane -Original Message- From: Blind-Computing [mailto:blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Mujtaba Merchant Sent: Monday, January 14, 2013 5:04 AM To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] is that possible to use ms office 2003 and2010 both?
