2013-07-05 Thread Gurpreet Singh Kukreja
Hi,

You may want to consider:

- VoiceView
- URLs that can be helpful for features under CME (Telephony service)

Other than that it looks good.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] how use phoneview in srst case?

2013-07-05 Thread khaled Saholy
Hi Amit,

You can create a new cm group with sub only and when testing srst , configure
that site cm group to be the new cm group (sub only).

With this way you can still access the remote phones while in srst. And to put
the site into srst mode, you have only to stop subscriber call manager service.

Hope that helps.

Regards.

It could be that you created the menu connection, but you forgot to click the

Can you divide the problem or the script into two section? I mean, try first
the upper part of the script , just the menu. Then try the icd in the same
script. And see where it fails.

You can use the reactive script.
Plz check the css of icd whether in uccx or cm.
can u call that number directly from any extension?

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] voicemail ip phone service

2013-07-05 Thread Brian Valentine
Experts,

Why does IPExpert seem to make a big deal about running the following
command out of the release notes to restore voicemail button functionality?

Voicemail

run sql insert into telecasterservice
(pkid,Name,NameASCII,Description,URLTemplate,tkPhoneService,EnterpriseSubscription,Priority)
values('ca69f2e4-d088-47f8-acb2-ceea6722272e','Voicemail','Voicemail','Voicemail','Application:Cisco/Voicemail',2,'t',1)

In my experience, you can simply and easily add the voicemail service back
in through the web gui. I just basically manually copy the settings out of
the "corporate directory" service, but make sure to replace the wording to
say Voicemail and make sure to check the Enterprise Parameters checkbox.
After doing this, I reset the devices and my voicemail buttons work again.

Am I missing something? Is there some advantage to doing this through
CLI? I'm not sure looking up the command in the release notes and then
pasting it into command line is any faster than adding it through the gui.

Thanks for any additional insight you might be able to provide.

Hello

Two suggestions:
- check the VM pilot CSS, it must have access to the VM pilot and VM ports
- do a DNA with call forward all activated to voicemail and we'll see the
CM routing to voicemail. I don't think CFNA routing appears in DNA

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] B-ACD Problem

2013-07-05 Thread Karen Johnson
hesham,

i have similar issue, it was caused by  failed   moh files, do following:

- audio-prompt load flash:en_bacd_welcome.au

if moh failed, then download from Cisco and copy to flash.

run "audio prompt " again  and files will load successfully , then it will
works as expected.

Somphol that was such a great point your have raised.

Yes I agree it was playing en_bacd_invalidoption.au even when I didn't
configure it on B-ACD
I have deleted the lab but thanks for your points.

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] CUE Live Reply and Notification

Hi Guys,

I have few queries related to CUE. Appreciate if someone can comment from
their experience with CUE.

1. I can’t seem to get live reply working in CUE integrated with CME
(Ref# IPExpert 5 Labs lab 4). I get “This message cannot get a reply” or
something along those lines. Has anyone tested this?

2. For notification, I can’t seem to get CUE to call out to PSTN
(notification device) when a message is left for the user. Notification is
enabled system wide, enabled on the user, notification destination is specified
within CUE, there is no restriction table, and notification is enabled for all
messages 24x7. I can’t see CUE even trying to call out (debug on CME).

3. Finally, do we get GUI access to cue in lab? For advanced cue tasks I
think it would be good to have access to GUI.
