RE: VIP4-80 help [7:9397]
I am using 12.1.6 IOS. I actually have 2 VIP4-80s in the box, one is working fine, the other one is causing me the problem. I appreciate all the input I have received, but I am starting to wonder if this is a hardware problem, or if I can just reload the pertinent information. Thanks. It seems that there is a bug with the Vip4-80 and OC12 PA. Tac is working on it. Re: VIP4-80 help [7:9397]
I have a customer running the OC12 PA in a VIP4-80 without any problems. Of course they are running a Service Provider 12.0S Image, I believe 12.0(15)S. The 12.1E Train also supports both for Enterprise solutions, the same customer tested it with 12.1(2.6someverylongmumbojumbo)E because they wanted to work with an Enterprise Image. Have a look at the Hardware Software compatibilty tool http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/front.x/Support/HWSWmatrix/hwswmatrix.cgi The vip4-80 requires 12.1.3 minimum David C Prall [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://dcp.dcptech.com - Original Message - From: "Donohue, Steve" To: Sent: Thursday, June 21, 2001 2:25 PM Subject: VIP4-80 help [7:9397] > Hey Gang, > > I am wondering if anyone out there has had any problem with the VIP4-80s for > 7500 router.
