Re: [l10n-dev] New l10n builds

2008-06-13 Thread Olivier Hallot

Hi Ivo

I am glad that the specific ptBR build now carries several translations
improvements. OO 3 looks terrific translation-wise and modesty aside. I
have however some questions about this build:

Some chunks of strings were untranslated (mostly in Base) but they were
translated in OO 2.4. and correctly translated in pootle since then. I
also see some strings untranslated scattered in the UI that were
translated in 2.4 as well.

When approximatively did you get the strings from pootle?. Was it just
before the latest handoff a week ago? It helps me to figure the timeline.

I am not sure if I have to open translations issues refering to this
build since most (perhaps all) of the untranslated string I found are
already translated in pootle.

Please advise.

Regards
Olivier

we have delivered the Pootle UI (note that the help has not been

The above information should help you decide whether an untranslated UI

Hi Oliver,

you found a bug! For a still unknown reason the localize.sdf file in
/dbaccess/source/ui/dlg/ is corrupt ( in the cws which is not yet
integrated ). All old translations are missing only the new strings are
in this file. I currently try to find out why this happend and if there
are more localize.sdf files affected. Thanks for reporting! I will fix
this on the l10n cws ( extensionl10n01 ).

The errors are the strings in contents tab of help are all in English. We
have translated them and uploaded the sdf file to the site indicated below. The
screenshot of the the help page is attatched to this mail. The string you have
indicated on the previous mail was forgotten mistakenly. Sorry for the

the text under contents tab of help are still in english. But we have
translated them in helpcontent2\source\text\shared.po. There are also
some erranous translations which still persist in the langpack. But
we have fixed them in officecfg\registry\data\org\openoffice\Office\UI.po

I think it is better if you can download our translation with the fix
from the following site: http://om.openoffice.org/om-ET.sdf.bz2

I have this file in the source right now! I can reproduce your error, I
can see that the topics are in English. A rebuild of the module solved
it thus this problem was a build error. I am currently try to find out
what happend there.

This problem will appear on the master!

Cheers,
Ivo

Re: [l10n-dev] new l10n builds available from cws localization37fix

2009-12-04 Thread Viesturs Zarins

Hi,

When testing the Latvian translation, I noticed that collation does not
wok correctly.
When sorting in Calc, the letter Y is placed between letters Ī and J,
but it should be between letters X and Z.

Thanks,
Viesturs

Hi,

I merged the latest fixes I found so far on pootle and from some
issues. I created new installsets for the languages that changed:

my ja uz fr nl vi ca pt-BR ru gl ko om gu zh-CN or de ta hu lv tr ast
id eo es is it

You can find the builds here:
http://ooo.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/cws/upload/localization/localization37fix/

This cws will be integrated on friday, I know there are only 2 days
left for testing but this cws should only cover some minor fixes.
Extending the test time is not possible or we violate the release
schedule ...

Please report any issue *ASAP*

Cheeers,
Ivo
