Re: [Dev] Identity Server extending session endpoint

2017-06-01 Thread Illia Alifanov
Hello, Farasath.

The specific reason to implement this on top of 5.1.0 – we want to deploy WSO2
Identity Server on Kubernetes with WSO2 Puppet Module. As far as I know there
isn’t ability to do this with Identity Server 5.3.0.
I hope you have approach to deploy IS 5.3.0 on Kubernetes and give me advice
how to do so and we can discuss mentioned endpoint for 5.3.0.

Illia.

I have in mind such activity: user works in web app more than
SessionIdleTimeout (calls same services, changes data in database).

Can we imitate “user is already authenticated and tries to login again “
sending next request (from some service and using sessionDataKey from last
successful authentication request) ?

AFAIK, we do extend the current session if the user is already authenticated
and tries to login again.

What other user activities do you have in mind to based oj which you intend
extend the session?

Hi Illia,

You can increase the session timeout value using configs in [1].
IIUC what you mean by a sliding session time is that the session should get
extended based on user activity. Is that correct?

Re: [Dev] IS: createApplication in IdentityApplicationManagementService doesn't return application ID

2017-04-04 Thread Illia Alifanov
Thank you for your help. Request works now.

I’d want return to the first question about creating service provider (SP) via
admin services.
Is it a good approach or we haven’t another:

1. Create service provider with Name and Description.

2. Get SP by Name and receive its ID.

3. Update SP (setup all settings).

Hi Illia,

Seems that the return type was changed to void while fixing an issue ([1], [2])
and the doc comment was not updated accordingly. Can we know your exact
requirement so we can provide an alternative to this?

[1] - https://github.com/wso2/carbon-identity/pull/976
[2] - https://wso2.org/jira/browse/IDENTITY-2558

Omindu.

[Dev] IS: updateApplication in IdentityApplicationManagementService doesn't work

2017-04-03 Thread Illia Alifanov
Dear,
WSO2 dev-team.

I try to use updateApplication method in IdentityApplicationManagementService
but it doesn't work.
I receive: "Error occurred while updating the application: ServiceProvideName"
without any description.

I tried a lot of different params combinations without any success.

P.S. I'm able to work with admin serviced (I can create application, create SSO
config, work with user store admin service).

Regards, Illia.
