It's a bacteria that's often not detected based on a single routine fecal
culture.  Here's a link from the Merck Vet Manual:
The
Merck Veterinary Manual -Campylobacteriosis: Introduction

I've also used the Cornell Consultant web page many times to get
ideas...you select the animal species in the drop down menu, then enter a
symptom or symptoms in the search field & it will return a list of
possible diagnoses.  Consultant
Hope this helps!

I am wondering now - I gave Bellas Avalon (?)when she was pregnant as
she had coccidia (I did not know that she was then), if it impacted her
kittens during pregnancy.. as I said all of her kittens are skinney in
general.. but Waku more so.. I am afraid that the drug did something to
these babies before they were born??

well, that's why i'd ask the vet--but coccidia and other such stuff
can really weaken kittens and could explain why she's not picking up
weight.

you might want to ask if they checked for trichomonas, which is the
thing that jenn's been talking about--it's also hard to find if
they're not looking for it specifically

one of the more painful lessons i learned living in a sanctuary is
just how frail kittens really are--no matter what you do, an awful lot
of them just won't make it remember, you have NO idea about mom's
health or genetic makeup, her prenatal nutrition etc--this little one
just may not be strong enough...

Try not to freak out too much. You'll know more
tomorrow. In the meantime, I know you have the
know-how to take care of Waku until the vet sees
him/her.
