I normally salvage /sw/src and reinstall from source periodically anyway. This page doesn't talk about how to get started; just how to upgrade a working install. I will copy /sw from my Jaguar partition onto my Panther partition, and "fink selfupdate-cvs; fink update-all"; news at 11. Some packages need 2.95, but that is handled automatically by the package. There are no packages in fink now that need 3.3. The clisp package works with 3.1. -Jeff -- Jeffrey S. Yes, I did update my developer tools because there was no way to compile clisp with gcc 3.1. So my currently selected gcc compiler indeed is 3.3. Re: [Fink-devel] fort77 can't be compiled.
Pascal: If you installed the gcc3.3 update, "sudo /usr/sbin/gcc_select 3.1" and rebuild f2c and fort77. If you haven't installed gcc 3.3, I have no idea what's wrong. [Fink-devel] Re: dbd-mysql-pm fails install
Hi Koen On Dienstag, September 30, 2003, at 12:19 Uhr, Koen van der Drift wrote: I tried to install dbd-mysql-pm but it failed because NoPerlTests is not yet available in the current fink release (0.13.7). It is available in 0.13.7-cvs, which you probably have installed on your Mac. Maybe you could update the dependencies of the packages? I am sorry for that. I failed to make sure that this feature is in the released fink version (when is fink 0.13.8 coming out?). So, it should be fixed in cvs now. Try to do a 'fink selfupdate-cvs' to get the updates (it may take one or more days for the cvs servers to synchronize).
