Re: [Flexradio] Flex 5K locking up
Since the problem got worse after installing a new video card and running a second monitor in extended desktop try these few things. 1) Update the video card drivers to the latest version from here http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx?p=vista32/common-vista32 2) Try running PowerSDR in the opposite monitor. If you normally run it on the right monitor (extended monitor) try running it in the right monitor instead (primary monitor). 3) Update the drivers for the onboard Ethernet you are using. 4) Update the motherboard chipset drivers. 73 Dave wo2x -- From: "Mario Aviles" Sent: Saturday, January 30, 2010 11:16 PM To: "Neal Campbell" Cc: Subject: Re: [Flexradio] Flex 5K locking up I checked and there is no other PCI slot and the 1394 port is inborad. Re: [Flexradio] Flex 5K locking up
Hi Dudley: Thank you for your response. Checked the Power Option and it was not on High Performance, already changed it. Latency is now above 2000, and something strange is happening, on the FireWire device driver I set the Sample rate to 96KHZ, and the Sample rate on PSDR is at 96Khz, but when I turn on PSDR it changes to 48Khz on the Firewire Driver. the message SYsTEM CLOCK IS LOCKED appears even when PSDR is stopped. PSDR version 1.18.3, FireWire Driver 3.5.0.7171 and firmware 1.3.0.8. Bluetooth Driver is off, use wireless mouse and keyboard. Hi Neal: Thanks for your suggestion, checked all devices and no conflicts. Again, thanks for help Mario - Original Message - From: "Dudley Hurry" To: "Mario Aviles" Cc: Sent: Friday, January 29, 2010 11:36 PM Subject: Re: [Flexradio] Flex 5K locking up Mario, You said your latency is 15119us??
