If its for sale in the Uk Then I will quite willingly buy the package. I have already made some lines of enquiries as a common muppet. and have got some strategic replies. Whats the issue?? in UK law is it sales of goods act or copyright ? pete Tim Moore wrote: On 09/26/2009 02:55 AM, syd adams wrote: Wish I had know I'd be working for Mr Charlie Taylor for free ! Hi, I've just created a ticket on the www.flightprosim.com website. In other words, I have tried to contact the webmaster/seller. I asked him if the package is released under GNU GPL. Also I kindly asked him to remove the images or place clear sources. If the situation doesn't improve within 7 days (which is very likely I think) I will contact the hosting company and ask them to remove the images or even his entire website. Curt, you are the maintainer of the list? You might have received an email with details about my ticket. Would you be so kind to forward them to me? That way we could see the status of our request. Interesting, if you look at the very bottom of their home page ( www.flightprosim.com) you can click on Developers; this brings you to a page where you can join the Flight Pro Sim developers !! I did not try to join yet, but would be interesting to see WHO are those developers... Hi Just to dig up the old discussion. That was about this site: http://flight-aviator.com/ Which is copyrighted by http://www.FlightProSim.com and uses the same layout and text. We sucessfully contacted the webmaster of FPS last time (the images were removed), so I think we should do that again this time... He might not damage the GNU GPL license, he does some other licenses. 1. He uses copyrighted images from FlightGear.org without permittion from their respective copyrightholders and/or authors 2. At the Disclaimer page you state Flight Pro Sim is not related to any other Flight Simulator software, which is a lie as we all know. So a quick email to the webmaster should make clear if the guy is cooperative (and removes/ replaces the images) or if we need to use tougher measures. Regards, Gijs From: Jon S.
