I sent the tarball to Peter Nixon. Since I changed all the filename extensions from .php3 to .php, a patch would be twice as large, unless I did some trickery. I'll look into it. I have similar problem with dialup admin, but enabling safe mode = On and variables_order = EGPCS in php.ini solve problem. Also interface didnt work with Konqueror browser. Natscape is fine . I have free radius runing but can not get the interface to work I don't get any errors but when I attempt to add a user using the interface it does not do a thing. About the questions, I put SSL server so I am using dialup_admin with ssl and you can use any kind of security the apache or your web server software supports for accessing the pages. I put a simple username/password which was enough for me. You can change the Session Timeout from the EDIT page if I understand you
correctly.
Edit only allows the following to be changes
Protocol, Ip Address, Ip netmask, MTU, Compression used, Session timeout,
Idle timeout, Port limit, Lock message
The session timeout only affects the per-session timeout. No daily or
weekly limits can be set from here.
Also the account status is all zeros.
The Account Status is only for the last 7 days. Do you have sessions for
that
user for the last 7 days?

Does it find a current user or itjust says that the user was not found? Does the Accounting or Find Userpages work ok? Enable mysql logging and check the sql queries executed bydialup_admin. Yeh I have, radius has full rights to add edit and delete etc. Its strange cause I can see whos logged in but cannot edit current or even add users. Hi thank you for the answer, well...
I Use mysql. I have imported the users with a perl script from an old
/etc/shadow System.
I get the same error in every page i have to get some result from the
database.
I'm able to create users with the interface but if i try to get
information of the user created i get the error.
The page of the online users is running, i think becouse it use only the
snmpfinger on the NAS.
The statistic page is working properly.
I have a little more question: How may i have the group to insert the
user in shown in the new user page and let the dialup_admin to insert
the user in the group i specified?

The admin.conf allows you to do a finger to the nas (that only works for cisco access servers currently) or just use the information provided from the accounting database. When Apache was initially set up during the Caldera OpenLinux installation the default php extension was set to just php rather than php3. So I renamed all of the dialup-admin files to have a php extension and I edited them all replacing php3 with php. Everything appears to be working for the why did you not just edit the httpd.conf file and add '.php3' after the .php include?? - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe? When I change the following line in accounting.php: $link = @da_sql_pconnect($config) or die... to $link = mysql_pconnect(localhost, username,password) or die... I can connect to the db and the accounting page works just fine. A problem with my config file? A problem with this @da_sql_pconnect function? (I can't seem to find it referenced at php.net so I'm assuming it's a function somewhere in the dialup-admin stuff but I can't find it. I'm just looking for some suggestions folks. general_radiusd_base_dir should contain the base directory of the freeradius
installation *not* the radiusd binary. The way you 've edited admin.conf will
make the radclient path look like this:

work properly.
2. Edit users on the left side menu doesn't retrieve userinfo, when the
input box is filled the username. One has to enter the user name again in

Just put the username in the input box and press enter. :-)
